What do you do when someone says I know who u are and proceed to tell you about your life where you stay what your interests are and what mistakes you have made previously im a bit freaked out

I had this a few weeks ago. It was a nice message but asked if it was me as he knows my name were I live etc.

I said he had the wrong person and blocked him. Did freak me out alittle

I get this a few times followed by ‘you would be surprised if you knew who I was’ which in a way I find a bit rude but I’m not ashamed to be on here. I don’t mind anyone at all knowing (prob bar my boss!)

We got one from a guy who said he could see into our house (through the windows) by binoculars from his house ! Complete crap as our home is surrounded by trees. There's a lot of weird people on here !!

He then threatened me by saying who I was friends with and that he'd be calling social services if I didn't meet him. I blocked him but feel a bit weird as didn't know who it was but the info he had was very precise

Very wise! Although you now have the advantage if he mails you again as you can say you'll mention it to his wife the next time you see her (without disclosing where you meet her) ... If he asks for description or first name then you have it ... See who freaks then ...

I had this happen to me, he started saying he’d seen me in our local Costa and had found me on Facebook and that we had mutual friends. Wouldn’t tell me who he was so I blocked him, freaked me out a little.

I’m completely open about swinging The only person in my family that doesn’t know is my mother, to be honest if she did find out I don’t give a damn it’s my life. All my friends know and most of my neighbours. No one can try to cause me trouble because of this I did freak a bit when another neighbour suddenly appeared on my news feed. That was only because our front doors face each other and I know his wife really well. Knew the lies he spouted on his profile about his marriage were bullshit. remind them there on here to x ive been freaked out twice 1 guy messaged me on face book god knws hw he got real nasty wen i asked him how on earth hed found me we had freinds in common to ..blocked him x 2nd a creepy guy came into the cluc were i work hes a eeg and i do talk to him but 1 night made it clear hes checked me out on here a fw times i put my most revealing pics to freinds lol told him to think carfully as his prof was quite smdiscusting and blocked him x

VS had that from a work colleague via text a few years ago. She replied telling him he obviously knows we are on here as he'd recognized us. Nothing bad came of it.

I promised not to mention it again. I haven’t messaged her since. Our paths will cross soon for work and I will act as if we’ve never even had the conversation on Fab.

This is something similar I have had to deal with recently, the job we do means we have a liberal work environment, I work with a lot of women and have discussed elements of my lifestyle with them short of telling them what sites I meet people from, as I'm Bi I've plenty of 'war stories' to share.

So guess what? We have a work Whatsapp group to discuss work stuff outside work hours mainly, a few Fridays ago a post went up with 'my old user name': 'WTF!'.

I was naturally angry, but with the help of a friend here who's partner had a similar experience, and had to delete their profile and leave Fabs for 6 months; he give me my new username (the previous one had been a song title as well). So I have gone off the Whatsapp group, changed my pics and location and name.

'No Regrets' is my statement of defiance. Nobody is going to stop my enjoyment and wonderful social and party life I have found on here. Managers are on the Whasapp Group, so the sad act that found me on here and set up a stupid fake profile to message me has to be careful what she says, as only a handful know about me so it made no sense to most.

Sorry from going off at a tangent OP, but I had to get that off my chest. If it helps, change your details after you have blocked the idiot, but make sure you tell your friends, party organisers as I am on a guest list for one. There is no reason why you, as me should be forced off here.
