Arranged a social meet

Hi Folks,

We arranged to meet two guys for a social meet with a view to getting together again for play if we all got along etc.

Only one of the guys turned up and he was apologising profusely for his partner in crime not showing up. The guy that didn't show sent us a message a DAY later to say that he was sorry he didnt show up and that the guy that did show thought we were great and that he now wants to sort out a meet for play.

We have basically told him to jog on as he couldn't be arsed to even let his partner (they have a joint profile) know that he wasn't going to be able to make it.

Are we being arsey? Now that his partner has confirmed that we are indeed genuine and that Missus Max is a hottie this guy now thinks we should "meet up to play".

Please bear in mind that we have given the guy that didn't show at least four different dates to meet us

The Chap that did show up was a really nice guy and had a great sense of humour but single guys are ten a penny and we only got involved with messaging these Gents as there were two of them.

Some of the guys on this site can be so frustrating. We have very limited time to meet and play due to family life plus that I work outside of the UK for 9 months of the year or so. This has left a bad taste to be honest

Sorry about the rant gang

Max

Once...... more fool them.

Twice........ more fool you.

He wants to meet now he has confirmation that you are a 'hottie'

Tell them to get lost.

Maybe the one that did turn up will learn to either control his 'partner in crime' or go meeting on his own!

A couple is a couple whether MF or MM. If only one half of an MF couple turned up then you'd wouldn't entertain it. The no show was lazy and rude and your quite right, the other guy needs to get a new partner.

ITs entirely up to you what you do! You are in control and a lot of singe guys just dont get that, a lot of assumptions and presumptions are made by them and you shouldnt worry about ignoring/blocking/forgetting them, its a big fab world out there.x

Thanks for the replies.

We didn't post this a couple of weeks ago as it only happened earlier this week

Understand that there are genuine single guys out there too and that we weren't being fair with regards to all of them by saying they are ten a penny.

The reason we decided not to go with two single guys as opposed to trying to meet up with two guys that share a profile is that we thought there would be less awkwardness on the night if the guys already knew each other and had played together previously

We also thought it would be easier to sort out, logistically speaking, for us all to meet up.

Thanks again folks

I'd be inclined to tell the guy who didn't show up to jog on. Not turning up, putting his mate in an embarrassing position and not making contact until a day later is just plain bad manners. As the guy who showed up was nice and is obviously used to playing in front of other guys, you could invite him and another experienced single guy. I've found that if the guys are experienced swingers it doesn't bother them to play in front of other guys. Hope you get something sorted.

A no show would get a report and block from us. Shame for the one who turned up but he should have better taste in friends. You were not looking for a single guy. Wonders if he was single making out there were two of them....were they verified as a couple?

You absolutely did the right thing, we have experienced the same. All talk, then when reality looms they run a mile!

I think it's unfair to generalise that guys on here are so frustrating, yes some are but all the guys I've met are lovely. It's couples I get messed around by the most!

Having said that, yes I would be a bit peeved if I thought that I was meeting a couple and only one of them turned up, especially after giving them so many chances, I sure as hell wouldn't be giving them any more!
