You Dont Need to Know, right now

If you've got as far as talking about a meet, then a direct question should get a direct answer.

No direct answer? Move on to the next guy, and let the previous guy chase you (if he is really interested).

Men only give direct answers in one situation:

If the answer to a direct question is yes, or positive in some way, they will respond with a direct answer.

If the answer is NO, or negative in some way, they will respond with endless nonsense.

So if you don't get a straight answer right off then the answer is no

Whatttttt?!?! That's not necessarily true.

I've had a few meets where I've not known where we would meet up at this stage. I still have one now. It depends on when I'm free. When she's free. Which hotels are available, how much they cost, etc.

It's not always possible to answer questions.

If he is responsible for setting up the meet, let him do it. Let it go. If he doesn't arrange it, it's his loss? Right?

again...sweeping generalizations do my fecking tits in..

blame our entire sex for one guy not responding to a question...and it becomes 'all' men..

to be honest I find it quite immature when I hear many things like this..

oh..and to answer the specific question... he might have a partner/wife/mother/child in the house...

He may not be able to answer your question. I don't like to give an exact date and time until I'm sure I can make it. I don't have set free days and if I have a busy week I need my weekend to recover.

Given the current politic regarding how men are expected to treat women as equals (yea!! Who'd a thought it would only take 4 million years of evolution to figure that one out?)

Maybe sweeping generalisations about an entire sex are a little 1980s? Perhaps it is time to move on and start to see people as individuals as opposed to pigeon holing into whatever category suits your particular prejudice?

he has a wife or girlfriend,

doesnt want to accom or give address until last minute

most prefer to visit someone than invite them to there home, hotel aswell, if he paid for a hotel, it might be on his details, misses might see it, or letter through the post about staying again with that hotel.

As usual only one side the story and yet the women making generalised statements lambasting the men again.... you'd be well to listen to some of the very good and valid replies the men have given. Generalisation never helped anyone who is genuine.

There have been times in conversation when I have found a women pushy and as a result have held back wanting to know more before committing to a meet. When you have had no shows with lame excuses like the 'mother nature' for cancellation of a coffee meet one begins to _iew things with some skepticism. Women can change their mind in a given.moment with no apparently obvious reason. These are fabbers after all and they have the monopoly of choice and better options do come up quite quickly for them and many do play the game.

I disagree with the generalisation about men not giving a direct answer.

Sounds to me like you've engaged with a MP.

Stay away from those politician types, if I was you and all the recent bad press.

I meet in a public place have a social before I hand out my home address, if he's being vague about his home address I can understand why.. if it's a neutral / public venue I'm unsure why.

Best bet... Ask him. If he's still vague or unwilling to answer move on.

Direct wuestion?

Love to answer love but i've got some things to do for erm...something.

On a serious note, i think lads are either to upfront or too reserved on here.

But it is hard to be 100% honest over the internet- i don't understand why he won't give you a meet spot? Doesnt seem legit to me.

A generalisation based upon a little personal experience makes general sweeping statements. I can say the same for couples but it does mean most are like that...just some in my experience.

I personally havent ever had a man be vague when asked a direct question about meeting, or vague when arranging a where and when etc, but maybe because I just ask do you want a coffee, if replies yes, i then state well im free on x date are you, again if answer is a yes then a time is arranged.

If the man is being vague or if a man wouldn't give me a direct answer I would read into that thats he doesn't want to meet, wish him well and cease communication
