Just looking for a bit of advice. I was messaged a couple of days ago from a male to ask if I fancied meeting up with a couple (m/f). I replied that I would be interested. He said it would be with a mature couple in a local hotel and that I Will meet him in the car park and we would go to there room where she would be blindfolded and this is there kink. I asked if I could meet them first and he said she doesn’t like to meet the men before. Would you think this is genuine and if so if she is ok about the meet. You could ask to have a chat with the lady before hand, insist they phone you and you can check she exists.

Do they have verifications from other people that talk about experiences with the couple.

If this looks like a regular thing they do, then it would be ok. But if you aren't sure, then safest option is to walk away.

Slightly different scenario, but I got invited to a couple house with a mate who had visited this couple before and we were asked to undress downstairs in the dark and make our way up to the bedroom. (Still completely dark, no lights on house.) Fun was had by all. From what i could tell she was pretty hot.

In your case though it seems a bit weird to me and i personally wouldn’t go.

Yes agree with you. I have been in a long term FWB relationship with a local mature couple until recently however there Ill health has stop any further encounters. He used to not take part just enjoyed watching me and his wife. This took years to really relax with each other and understand each other kinks and needs

Personally I think the risks are fairly minimal.

The Pelicot scandal involved the poor woman being dr*gged and unresponsive. We have enjoyed this kind of thing a few times over the years with a blindfold but fully responsive wife able to answer questions and give instructions.

With any meet I think it's vital that the profile reflects who you will be meeting so if you're being asked to meet a couple it should be a couples profile.

You should also be able to verify consent from all parties before anything takes place.

Equating this with the Pelicot case is a stretch but we should all be wary regardless

I have a friend who was the woman in this situation, did not know it was happening and found it traumatic. The “other man” found himself ostracised by chunks of the kink/swing community too because he had not checked first. This is a risk. I can’t tell you whether to take the risk or not, but anyone who tells you it’s no big deal is wrong.

Totally fine and understandable, I personally like meets where I'm blindfold start to finish.

I suppose the main safety for the man is to ensure the woman is completely aware of the surrounding and circumstances when he arrives.

Id hope most men can discern between a normal, active, conscious woman and a messed up one.

I offer to folk a sensory deprivation bit of fun trust is essential for all involved and having contact before on phone with male and female or just female.

Most folk just think of blindfolds but I do more than just that a variety of add ons so to speak all explained prior to meets.

Last thing in the world is for someone somehow to be triggered.

Regarding your very good point about hoping men can tell difference between consenting and someone messed up is another part of the trust and where trying to get the male to participate is best so he feels she is in safe hands and the lady will be less anxious.

I have declined a few where using my experience and judgement indicates the lady may find it overwhelming which when the add ons are in play it can be.

At all times after the experience I try to let the lady and their other half take time to come back down to normal.

I would hope most others look after those they meet too.

The biggest red flag for me is that it's a man asking someone to meet a couple. The blindfold scenario isn't unusual but if the people anyone is being asked to meet need a third party to arrange it something is off.

Then out of the blue, about 5 or 10 years later, one of us got in contact with the other, and she said she wondered as I was in Essex, if I wanted to meet them both, in their Southend Airport hotel room? I said yes please.

On the agreed night, I phoned them outside the hotel. They gave me their floor and room number. I didn't expect to find the lady exactly as described......and a very pleasant hour was spent by all of us. She did remove the eye mask at the end while sitting on the bed.

(They kindly sent me a copy of the vid, and edited and non edited pics.)
