I lost my wife suddenly and unexpectedly in hospital not long ago.

When the right time to move on to have fun?

What would people think that about you, if you was away to have fun then you felt guilty about it as you think it to soon to cross that bridge?

I’m so sorry for your loss xx

In my opinion I think you’d be fine to be on fab seeking company/ fun/ sex or whatever else. You are human and have needs, I don’t think you should be judged for that. It’s no reflection on how you felt about your wife.. sex can be comfort and it can be a distraction, also it’s a reminder of embracing life while you have it.

Firstly I'm very sorry that you've lost your wife. That's a hard thing to bear.

The right time to have fun is precisely when you feel it's ok. What other people think isn't really relevant but I understand why you'd be concerned about it. Whatever you do going forward doesn't make any difference to the love you felt and still feel for your wife and isn't disrespecting her in any way.

I think it's probably natural to feel guilty and I don't know what you do about that. All I'll say is that you still have a life to live.

Whatever you decide and however you go forward I wish you the best.

Firstly sorry for your loss

The time to move on is whenever you feel ready to no one but you can decide that and no one has the right to judge you were all individual and handle things differently xx

There is no right or wrong time, it's whenever you feel ready.

My long-term partner died nearly three years ago and it's taken me this long to realise that she would have been bloody furious with me for waiting so long before moving on.

Life is short, don't waste it.
