Can you train yourself to be horny?

This sounds like its going to just be a full on horn fest but I'm serious. I'm female bodied and class myself as asexual but I've never worked out if that's due to various medication or past trauma or -both-

But I want a higher sexdrive/sexdrive at all.

Porn doesn't do it for me. Watching people in person. I find BDSM helps me alot and I require x amount of kink/connection and the consentional 'forced orgasm' and situations I'm not able to 'overthink'

I guess this is my desire to feel normal and connected to partners. I am dating two people and possibly seeing a third. I like sex when I get in the mood and I want to be able to satisfy my nesting partner.

Is there anyway anyone has tried to train themselves into being horny?

Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance.

Morning OP!

What an interesting question to ponder....

I'm going to go with a yes, that it's possible to train yourself to be horny. If Pavlov could train his dogs to salivate at the suggestion of food, then a human being trained to be horny is perfectly reasonable I'd think.

It's kind of already happening for you as you say you need a certain amount of BDSM to "get into that mood" to allow for those consensual forced orgasms.

I'm not entirely sure how you'd do it, but your going to want to try and strengthen that association between BDSM (which you like) and being horny. How you go about this is well beyond me and might be difficult with your asexuality complicating things, but as you already are having some kind of success, I reckon it's definitely doable.

So no real advice, just I don't think it's completely impossible at all

Good luck!!

A

First ask yourself why you feel you want/need to do this

Have you spoken to a doctor about checking your hormone levels?

I know nothing specific but a lot of people seem to have been helped by this.

Yes, I was just about to say similar. If you are transitioning, you are probably on some medication supporting the transition? Ask for a blood test to check your testosterone levels in particular. Also, is there anyone who supports you psychologically/emotionally with the transition? If yes, you should be able to talk to them about your sexuality and lack of or low sex drive.

I'm not asexual but I am on anti depressants which kills my sex drive

I find that being with someone and letting myself go through the motions allows me to get in the mood, although sometimes it takes long and sometimes it takes really long.

As others have said it may be worth checking your hormone levels and/or reviewing any medication you might be on x

It's good to get your hormones checked (testosterone, thyroid etc).

Ensure you're getting enough sleep, exercise etc, and ensure you're eating a healthy diet.

Hope you get your mojo back!

Same here, do you find your drive goes in peaks and troughs? I used to be horny all the time. Now I have days of nothing and then days where I can't think of anything other than pussy!

sometimes with some people being on fab day in day out, week in week out, year upon year takes away the excitement of feeling horny , sex , meeting people etc etc etc ,

probably because its so in your face youve trained your brain to find it normal, as opposed to getting excited about it.

well i know what i mean just cant explain it.

Understand yourself first your desires your pleasures then align with a partner capable of matching those... Anything short you'll always struggle and don't feel bad about dismissing those that don't at a minimum try to understand your needs/desires..

they wouldn't do that to themselves so don't allow it to be done to you.

Are you on the spectrum? Cos it's easy for the mind to wander and take you off course. Do you masturbate? Do you enjoy the slow sensual thrill of pleasuring yourself? Getting technical, your brain is the biggest sex organ you have, and you need to feed it plenty of sexual endorphins to keep it wanting more. The more you enjoy yourself, the more you want. It's all about finding the balance about finding what's right and healthy and not slipping off into a cheap & seedy fix. For example, I'm bi. I have a wonderful male partner who keeps me on my toes and never lets me get bored/my mind to wander. I get to enjoy him as much as he enjoys me. But I also enjoy women. There is something so erotic about how a woman's body responds to pleasure. It is mind blowing when there are 3 of us together. It's all about finding what works for you, and building on it. Do you need a kinky session of instruction & discipline to assist you finding your libdo and how to take care of it?
