Has anyone been asked to provide ID and personal details by someone before who wishes to video "fun" for posting on a website?

I wasn't comfortable with this so pulled out. The couple no doubt were genuine, just i've never been asked for a copy of my driving licence before.

In the porn industry they need to be able to prove that all participants are of legal age. If it's for hosting on a website then it sounds normal.

all loved up

If they are putting it online it is now a requirement that you provide id. In fact most places now its a full on consent form to share images of someone else.

Providing ID and a consent form i was happy with, just not having a copy of my driving licence taken

Yeah it's real. They also want a pic of the front and back of your bank card.

The ID and consent for will be for the website I would imagine, so unfortunately they'd have to take a copy

I actually asked for ID to a guy that looks way younger than he is, I just wanted to see the birth year

I'd never provide legal ID to anyone, where I didn't have equivalent legal documentation and a contractual relationship that I could limit and terminate, with terms that were explicit.
