Single lady in a hotel…. Safety advice

So I am alone again in the hotel with 54 messages in my inbox

I have changed my status. Can you read it and give me ideas about safety if I am not asking for ID as many said that is too much to ask for

I have just emptied the dishwasher and have now 69 messages to just meet one person there is no way I am doing mmmmf with 4 strangers not in kestrels xx

There arent really any safety precautions you can take when you’re advertising a same day meet.

You don’t know the men, anything about them or who they are.

The only thing you can do is pick a hotel with reception, someone knowing where you are and we’ll verified men.

You don’t know any of these men, could be anyone.

However in my opinion, knowing someone a while via text or a social doesn’t improve safety- anyone can be nice for a period of time.

Chance we take I guess. The reason I only meet well verified and clubs verified people.

Have a friend check up with you during the meet. You can have a coded response. Ensure that the meet gets covered by CCTV with you, such as at the bar - check where cameras are beforehand.

Have an agreed outline of the meet with the guy before you meet, to ensure you are all content with what you want.

Stop it, if there's anything you aren't happy with. Get him to leave immediately.

Ask for guys registration number meet in car park to check make sure he knows you’ll text the info to a friend. As others have said meet in reception covered by CCTV etc

All this safety talk but how does a man know it's safe to come to a random strangers hotel? How would he know your 'don't isn't there waiting to do whatever. I'm not saying that's the case just pointing out you're not the only one who needs consider their safety.

Pretty much this, there's no guarantees unfortunately especially on such short notice, just be as careful as possible, meet for the first time in a public place and have a friend know your there.

As a previous poster has said safety is a two way street and its certainly something that's worried me in the past too.

You've just got to find what your comfortable with and works for you. If it doesn't feel right you have to have the confidence to say no thank you as well.

There's nothing that will guarantee your safety. Aside from the fact that the vast majority of men are ordinary blokes who wouldn't dream of doing anything bad all you can do is take the usual precautions of having a friend check on you and going with your gut feeling

OP, are you making this clear to those you're talking to or are they going to find this out when they arrive?

From what I've read on the thread you posted yesterday and this one, you seem to be creating a lot of confusion - the question about the dishwasher being just one example.

Personally, I would knock the hotel on the head and just go to a club, daytime ones will have single men and onsite security. Get your kicks safely and if you are feeling extra frisky, go to an open area and ask 2 or 3 guys to join you.

So you are asking others for photo ID and an address and to pay £25 to get into a pool before you will meet people while giving them your home address were your family and father live?

I would say that isn't safe for the people you are asking and nor for you and I am very susprised that you had someone hand these details over.

There’s a huge difference between showing ID at a club, where there are systems in place for its safekeeping (if they even keep a copy) and sending a copy to a randomer you’ve never met. And there are clubs that don’t require it. The other issue is that in this situation it doesn’t make you safer, just the opposite.

There's no way of a meet being 100% safe.

People have been attacked/assaulted/ killed by partners they've known for years.

You can only do your best to minimise your risk.
