In the past month a friend and I have attended Jaydees 3 times and loved it. He has decided to get back with an ex and cannot come to the club. I'm gutted tbh as we were each others support, I really want to go this Saturday but not sure I'm brave enough to go alone. I think I'm being dramatic!

You'll be fine in your own - do it once and you'll wonder why you were worried in the first place.

It's a great club - we love it there.

I'm so sorry for your loss OP, the loss of a wing person can be difficult, but absolutely go alone! Because you're never alone on this scene.

Maybe put a meet thingy up, see if someone else going will meet up with you.

I'm so lucky from going to clubs solo I generally either have a cuppa with the staff or coax someone out

I mean, traditional way of handling this is a status saying “so, should I go to jaydee’s solo? Anyone else going on Satuday night?” and see what happens?

If you have already been with a friend three times you already know what to expect, the layout and the staff. Just go. I regularly go to my local club alone. It's nice to be able to chat by the bar and see who else is about. I'm sure you'll recognise some regulars and feel safe. Have fun.
