Fit or unfit - what matters to you?

Do you prefer your meets to be with a physically fit or slim person?

Or is it unimportant to you?

I'm currently working hard to lose weight (already lost 6kg in 2 months) and since I won't be meeting anyone until this Covid mess is over, I thought that posting how I look NOW might be counterproductive...

However, no photo at all is also counterproductive...

What's your thoughts on this?

I tend to prefer guys who work out, but it isn’t a deal breaker at all and I meet with guys with other body types too

As for chatting without seeing a pic, no chance. So I’d say to make one available

My preference is for slim to rugby type build.

A lot of people claim that personality is more important than looks but a lot of people wont engage with a profile that has no photos. We won't chat unless there's at least on photo available, it can be very awkward if after a lot of messages you find that the person isn't your cup of tea.

As a person who takes a lot of pride and need to stay fit and healthy I expect the same in any meet I may have. So yes its very important to me. I work extremely hard both exercise and diet.

Gym fit men tend to be vainer than dad bods yes..... had a meet once he was more interested in looking at himself in the mirror than anything else. Not all granted but yes I agree

Only thing for us is personal Hygiene....... Other than that, when we are out at clubs, shape and size make no difference, it's all about getting on, having fun and enjoying ourselves.

We're not body perfect by any means but we are not ashamed by it either. Just enjoy yourselves (when we can , of course )

Shouldn't have to be about the size or shape of the person. For me a sense of humour and someone who doesnt take themselves too seriously is what i look for.

Any body type is ok Aslong as it’s not one extreme to the other..

I don’t like skinny men and I don’t like ridiculously obese men...

Anything inbetween is ok...ripped, dad bod, slightly over weight, normal, no definition, a lot of definition .. all ok

My experience on fabworld is that dad bod to fit rule the day but as alot elude so many personal preferences for lots people

Diet and healthy/fit for me not give embarked 3 week ago to get my body how i want for first time in my life and eating 7 times a day drinking constantly and gym 6 times a week is bloody hard work but the benefits as i look in the mirror make worthwhile so its nit given not that lucky ...but each to there own i have my focus my goal ......

Four years ago I was in slump, then started run and go to the gym, dropped 19kg.

However much to disaapoint siince cronavirus came, and can no longer go to the gym, I have put on 9kg.

One thing I did notice when I lost 19kg, sex improved a lot.

Take care all, look on brightside, were not in US and have NHS.

So, as long as you are what we would class as an everyday couple or single, that's ok with us.

The ability to string a sentence together is a bit of an asset too.

6kg off in the last 2 months, so fit bod here I come

There seem to be a lot of posts about weight and size. And yes some people are vain and some people aren't but why does it matter? For me personality wins every time and confidence is key (not arrogance). I'd much prefer a guy who was great to talk to than just basing my decision on looks. And it's sad to read so many people think it's because of their weight.

I am a dress size 22 which I suppose most would consider "fat" but I really don't care what people think about my body. I prefer chunky guys and women to slim people, that's just my preference. But I'd never rule out a skinny person if they ticked my other boxes. I've learned over the years to love who you are and just be yourself and if people don't like that then that's on them not me.

Also I have no issues in meeting people

I always say, Its not the body type or size. Its the person. Some people suit different body shapes and that makes them attractive. Just cause someone might be big or small, tall or short, thats no matter. Its more how they are in their body that really seals the deal for me.

Who doesn’t like a ripped body let’s be honest but actually when I’ve been in clubs it’s usually the more average, cute guy that’s a little shy or really funny that get my attention. Sexual chemistry is a real thing, when someone says it’s personality that really is science saying you are sexually matched with someone...

I think add a picture, you can update it as you go but for now it might be the difference of finding someone to get to know... the more info the better vague profiles just get ignored from us (yep mines empty it’s to put of messages while we aren’t meeting)

Despite being a chubby lass, I seem to prefer slim guys or on the gym side of fit. Not bodybuilders though. I don't seem attracted to bigger guys - no idea why. S seems to like bigger women (good news for me!)

Better yet someone I can carry up two flights of stairs without stopping for a break mid way, you never know how soon the anesthetic might wear off... That's a NO for me . I prefer to be alert and keep my memory. I think we meant more along the lines of the kind of chemistry you feel when you just know you want that other person instantly!!

I think, at least as far as single guys are concerned from what I've seen on this page, something at least approaching slim is better.

Gym fit may not be compulsory, but I reckon it helps.

Women who demand a 'fit guy' on their profile are pretty common.

Couples as well, but not as often.

Conversely, Women who are Curvy and BBW seem to have very little problem finding guys who are more than happy to have a larger lady.

I'm not implying anything from this - it's just an interesting observation.

If I was looking g for a relationship then looks wouldn't be that high up on the tick list.

However, I'm not here to meet my soul mate so why not want to have sex with a guy that turns you on when you look at him? I love a rugby build more than a skinny build and a belly turns me off.

"for" or "fat" is a bit subjective isn't it? So many people label themselves as athletic physique and yet picture tell a different tale.

Physique is all part of it, along with personality and charisma but is not the only attibute and id hazard a guess has next to no contribution to whether any sexual encounter is good, great or mind blowing.

I think the connection you have with the person/people you are going to meet is far more important than weather they are slim, chubby or what ever they are. As long as they take care of themselves i.e. personal cleanliness etc and well presented as in they have made an effort to look sexy etc then size shouldn't matter

Not really bothered about body shape of others aslong as we got on socially first

Being relaxed with someone is more important to us than body type

Although neither of us would feel comfortable meeting right now as we have both gained a few pounds during this year so we wouldn't feel relaxed enough to attempt playing
