Tommy didn’t text. Didn’t call. Didn’t check in. He went about his day as though nothing had happened. Gym, work, meetings but inside, he was ablaze. He kept picturing her opening the flowers, reading the note, losing herself in the thought of him.

The next move had to escalate.

Victoria however was spiralling. She had read his note a hundred times. Slept poorly. Snapped at

colleagues. Every second without him felt like torture.

So when the courier arrived with a slim black box wrapped in silk ribbon, her breathing quickened with anticipation. She tore it open the second her office door closed behind her.

Inside was the most exquisite lingerie she had ever seen. Olive green lace and sheer panels, delicate yet daring, cut to show her body as if it had been designed just for her. She lifted it in trembling hands, the fabric whispering across her fingers.

The note was pinned beneath it.

“Your body is mine.”

She nearly moaned out loud. She felt the tingle between her legs and the wetness starting to form. Her whole body trembled at the thought of him choosing this, imagining her in it.

Her mind was consumed. Her body was aching. She wanted him so badly she could barely breathe.
