Hi all,

Any recommendations on hotels for solo female? I was looking at Gran Canaria Princess as adult only and do all Inclusive and caters for gluten free.

Any other recommendations for other hotels? X

Our naughty friends stayed at the Abora Caterina with their young daughter who had to have gluten free and a special diet. They went out of their way to accommodate her and they were full of praise for the hotel.

Hope this helps.

Can’t comment on the GF but we stayed at abora in Feb. The staff were v v helpful and pleasant however it is a family hotel, not adult only, loads and loads of kids and the food and canteen was like school dinners. Yes there is a naked rooftop but no bar up there and it’s a five min walk from reception we’ve stayed at HL and Gold and numerous others and HL abd Gold much better.

We've stayed at the Princess and HL Suite which are both good. Were trying the Don Miguel this Oct as it comes very highly recommend by several of our friends who keep going back there!

Hahah... Yes that was us that just us both commented about.

Yes abora caterina went out there way to accommodate dietary requirements, we put a food order in every day and they made separate stuff which wasn't on the buffet.

You’ll have no issues grabbing a taxi from the airport outside arrivals and the cost will be just the same as booking a cab in advance. Or get the bus…a lot cheaper?

When we have booked in the past we used Blick but usually found they were running late so taxi rank is your best bet.
