November the new October?

So our October trip had to be cancelled but from speaking to friends returning home and canvassing the opinions of some PDI regulars, it appears October numbers have still not returned to pre Covid levels. Has November taken over, or is it the cost of living crisis hitting, or how would you explain it?

We're not returning now until April and having noticed that numbers were also well down when we were there this April, wondering if there's an overall year round drop in numbers.

One thing we have noticed, is that although you can still get cheap flights(eg €25 each way from Dublin), accommodation prices seem to have rocketed.

Will the PDI scene keep changing, or will a status quo be reached, were supply matches demand and if so, what venues do you think will survive and will they have to permanently adapt in how they run things?

Interesting times

We found October definitely quieter than normal, still fun, but numbers down.

The scene constantly evolves - for example, Gold was populated primarily by gay couples the last two weeks whereas in the past Octobers there would have been a more balanced mix of swingers, gay couples, and ordinary holidaymakers. Despite attempts to consolidate new clubs and meeting places, Comeback, FFA, and Secret still seem to have a strxnglehold - in our experience which others may find different to their own.

It’s made us plump for November next year.

Well that's been an interesting day, as it seems quite a few people are wary of posting publicly, due to the Bars/Clubs having Fab profiles.

What is becoming clear, is that October has not been as busy as some would have you believe. What will November bring? Hopefully there'll be a few honest updates, of how things really are.

I would compare Cita to a thriving town centre and the outlying Clubs as the out of town shops, trying to tempt people away from the town centre, with promises of greater things. You either support the town centre, where you have choice, or go to one of the outlying Clubs, where you've made your choice and are stuck with it for the night.

Is there in fact now too much choice??

Maybe PDI's selling point for year round good weather actually works against it as a swinging "destination"?

The price spikes around the Pride events may encourage people to book in the off-season so that the number of visitors spread out over the year as compared to somewhere like Cap D'Age which has a limited season??

__

Also, there may be a lag caused by the pandemic travel restrictions - people may be using the next couple of years to tick off their "bucket list" destinations that have been off limits??

Was a lot busier this October than the previous 2. What was a massive difference was the great new venues. Peaches and route were always busy which in turn takes people away from the normal venues. Makes it seem more quiet but it definitely is not.

I only went in fun4all twice in 2 weeks for example.

That's been the issue most discussed, are there now too many venues, spread too far apart? The upside, I suppose, is there are more opportunities for single guys to get into Bars/Clubs but that's a double edged sword.

I think it's possibly a boom and bust scenario and the status quo will be re-established over the next couple of years.

We were there in October, first time to do in years ...normaly September, late November the odd January and March and there was so many people we knew then ever in October.....however because there were so many venues it was hard to merely bump into people ...as you know us we don't like to plan and we tend to go with whatever flow is happening...

As long as Apples didn't lose her dress again lol

Think October regulars are more of the opinion of smaller numbers but as you pointed out again, there's the argument of people spread too thinly between the increased number of venues.

Gone are the days of at least once a night saying "look, there's Ollie and Apples" as we snaked our way through a crowded Club

Just back 24 hours and had a really fun week….Peaches and Comeback very busy (the latter heaving on Friday night…great to see)…also managed to tick a few more clubs off our list….Tantra was quiet but very enjoyable, Lux was dead….seems most of the general crowd only get as far as Secrets and those do go further pop into FFA (again sociable but very quiet).

From chatting to folk it was really interesting to hear a lot say it was busier than they expected and while ‘drinking and socialising’ levels were up….the majority said they’d played a lot less than normal in the clubs.

We’d a hot day pass at Venus again (and heard a lot were turned away as venue full) but that was great fun in the sun. Will def book it for a few days next time.

Chatting to a few folk we randomly bumped into during other afternoons for beer/coffee there seems to be a gap in the market for a daytime club….didn’t a club (Tantra perhaps?) offer an afternoon session in recent years….a ‘pop in and see us as you come off the beach’ idea?? We’d certainly be interested in a mid afternoon session spot now dunes are not as active.

"although you can still get cheap flights(eg €25 each way from Dublin)"

….tell us more about these cheap flights!!

Easyjet not released/announced flights for next Oct yet from Belfast so looking for alternatives to allow us to secure our accommodation. Is it only Aerlingus from Dublin? Or Ryanair?

Ryanair from Dublin, there's still €25 flights for a lot of dates in November/December. I was hopeful of rearranging our cancelled October trip, for November and could have got return flights, with 20kg hold luggage and pick of seat, for as little as €125.

A lot depends on dates and as I'm sure you know, Ryanair prices fluctuate all the time. It's about choosing your dates and gauging the best time to book it. But have a look and you'll see, for example, 14th November currently €24.99 and other dates in the range of €24.99 to €50

PDI has definitely become much more of a social scene, or a seen to be seen scene, as I call it. Peaches and Cream seem to have embraced that and obviously have the wonderful Hendrik working there. Lux/Lemur/Temptation, who even goes there? 2x2 has never returned to the level of when Chris owned it but still is the players Club. Eden took over Eternity, which used to be epic on a Saturday night(or Sunday morning to be more accurate) and you really throw the dice as to whether it'll be busy or not.

Daytime venues may seem like a good idea but other than the Sex Cinema, aren't really commercially viable. The Day passes are really the only option.

To us PDI has lost it's definition but the weather is still great and we enjoy it now as a holiday destination.

I just saw flights with easyJet at the end of Jan for about £85 pp return

Pity we're booked elsewhere around then.

Hopefully see you both nearer home before Xmas xx

We never went to Eternity when we visited PDI. We have however, spoken to people who used to visit the club and also know the previous bar staff.

The famous Saturday night parties were mainly attended by people local to Las Palmas and were not necessarily swingers. The reason why these parties never took place in the week except for holidays was because of the extent of local support.

We have pictures and videos of what Eternity looked like before we took over and it is clear to see why it drive itself into the ground before covid got the chance. It took 7 months of 12 hour say 7 day weeks before the club was fit to open, and even with parts sealed off.

Almost without exception, previous Eternity customers have commented on an improvement in lighting, ventilation, air-conditioning and cleanliness.

Our current situation is that we have more bar staff than ever before. We have been able to double our number of lockers and greatly improve our air conditioning. On any given night we give 5 to 10 tours for new customers and find that most of our previous customers visit us at least once on return holidays.

We wish to thank out amazing customers who have taken the time out of their hectic holidays to leave us lovely reviews and verifications. Each and every one of them means the world to us after all the hard work and dedication we have put into Eden_GC.

If the pundits of fab wish to measure a club by the headcount, well go ahead. In 4/5 nights last week our night ended with not one single customer in the social area and every person in the hot tub or play area. If the pundits want to call this "social only" they are entitled to their opinion. In our opinion it made out porn look tame.

Zurich. NOT London.

We had 10 days at Venus in October, we usually go in September, and will be returning to September next year.

On the nights we did go out, it was busy but there was more of a drinking vibe than a playing vibe. We definitely prefer the slightly less busy September. For us a better mix of nationalities and more play.

We never heard of Nilo. Because of these people who push Cita like it's the be all and end all. Sound familiar?

As people who stayed at the Princess, had we known about Moonlight Dreams and what a beautiful club it is, we would probably have gone there most nights instead.

We went to Eternity once. We were welcomed by the lovely Josè. All the clientele were Spanish and most didn't speak English, so thought we were in for a quiet night.. not so, apparently I stood out as the only blonde there and everyone wanted to dance with me! Later we had a quite a few invitations (by sign language!) to play which of course we thought would be rude to turn down

We had a great night, didn't notice much about the aesthetics of the club as we were so busy having fun. Maybe we were just lucky on the night and maybe if it was quieter and we had time to look closer, we might have had a different impression but it left us with great memories

Eden who took over from Eternity is a great club and we can tell they have worked really hard to make it the place it is today.

Well it goes to show one should never judge by one visit. Unfortunately we never did get the opportunity to try again.

I remember in August 2021 PDI was like a ghost town but we still managed to have a very very memorable holiday and some fantastic experiences.

It's about the quality of people you're lucky enough to meet and not the quantity of people there

And I'm known to be quite partial to blondes

Josè was an absolute star and made new people feel so very special.

As for play, it was full on and we never had a problem with the majority of people not speaking much English. I was told most of them worked in hospitality, hence why they arrived late but the party went on until 6am. I remember one night, I think it was 6 of us in the mirrored cubby hole and it felt like it was raining, as the condensation from the heat of the bodies formed and dripped from the mirrors. Now that was a night!!

The auto locker system at Eternity was also great, Euro to release the key, returned when you unlocked it. There was a hatch from which you could get towels for 2 Euro if you wanted but most were naked.

Glad someone who went and played there concurs

We had a great night, didn't notice much about the aesthetics of the club as we were so busy having fun. Maybe we were just lucky on the night and maybe if it was quieter and we had time to look closer, we might have had a different impression but it left us with great memories

Eden who took over from Eternity is a great club and we can tell they have worked really hard to make it the place it is today.

Glad someone who went and played there concurs "

I would compare Cita to a thriving town centre and the outlying Clubs as the out of town shops, trying to tempt people away from the town centre, with promises of greater things. You either support the town centre, where you have choice, or go to one of the outlying Clubs, where you've made your choice and are stuck with it for the night.

Is there in fact now too much choice??

"We never went to Eternity when we visited PDI.

So you never actually went to Eternity? Ok

We never heard of Nilo. Because of these people who push Cita like it's the be all and end all. Sound familiar?

As people who stayed at the Princess, had we known about Moonlight Dreams and what a beautiful club it is, we would probably have gone there most nights instead.

We went to eternity once, we'd been to moonlight until about midnight. It was like a nightclub for young Spaniards and many didn't arrive until 2am maybe the swinging started later but we were near asleep lol

Maybe we were unfortunate on our choice of nights but I wouldn't have slagged off the owner

We went to Eternity once. We were welcomed by the lovely Josè. Yes Eden is nothing like Eternity. Eternity drove itself into the ground and had been derelict for 6 months before we took over the premises. All the furniture needed re-covering, the ventilation system was non functional. Every component of the hot tub system was faulty. Only one light in the entire club has been kept.

Whether Cita is the nucleus of swinging in PDI all depends on how you define swinging. Certainly if it is defined by a quid pro quo exchange of sex for financial gain then the basement of the Cita is unrivalled.

That might actually work if those were the only clubs in the Cita basement. You forgot to mention the VIP Bunny Club, Full Swap etc.

We don't comment on other clubs unless we have something positive to say. We leave badmouthing to the experts.

"Lux/Lemur/Temptation, who even goes there?" Your words. The Cinema and Klamotte are not clubs.

That leaves you with Tantra, Secret and Fun4All. Three well attended clubs in a nucleus. With 2x2, Peaches & Cream, Moonlight Dreams and Eden_GC outside that nucleus.

Albert has stopped working Lemur, citing the "toxic" environment caused by the surrounding sex trade as one of his main reasons. He has instead joined us at Eden_GC where he is far happier.

Why would anyone throw in VIP Bunny or Full Swap in to a discussion on Swinging?

Let's see, the nucleus, the centre or core. Cita, at least 6 Meeting Points, a Sex Cinema and 6 Swinger Clubs. La Sandia 1 Meeting Point and 1 Swinger Club. Nilo 2 Swinger Clubs. Not forgetting the 2 stand alone Meeting Point/Clubs. Factually that would confirm Cita as the nucleus of the Swinging scene in PDI without considering their central location, compared to those in other, more remote, locations.

Funny story, I was actually in Full Swap when it had just opened as a Swinger Club, well before it transitioned and met 2 very well established Fab couples there, before anyone tried to shed any doubt on it ever having been an actual Swinging Club.

Well again, it depends on how you define swinging. If swinging is a pastime that involves talking and drinking and dancing then yes you can count meeting points.

If swinging for you involves the act of sex then you are pretty much limited to places which provide an environment for this to happen.

We enjoy the Cita. We go there on our nights out. Love Before Bar. Really enjoyed Red Hot Reenies, think Bulldog is a phenomenal success. We wouldn't go there to swing.

People often ask us at the club which clubs are well attended. We ask them if they want to be surrounded by lots of other swingers or surrounded by lots of other people who aren't necessarily swingers. And I guess that's the crux of the matter. As I mentioned before, if you want to measure a club by foot traffic alone regardless of whether those people are swingers or not vs the percentage of people who end up in a hot tub or playroom, then you are talking about partying not swinging.

And yes. When I spoke about the extent of sex for cash I said the Cita basement, not the swinging establishments you mentioned. A sure sign of a weak argument is when you need to twist people's words to mean something else.

Well the equipment that Tropical supplied us with was not fit for purpose so even when they did deliver beer we couldn't get it out of a keg and into a glass. The kit leaked gas and when asked them to deliver more gas they sent a technician who told us we were out of gas. You can inform your friends who come to us that we still offer Tropical and Tropical Lime out of bottles.

No not really. Actually don't know much which is surprising considering I actually live on the island, own a swingers club and spend my nights talking to other swingers who go to other clubs on the island. We also go to other bars/clubs ourselves on our nights off. I am also in regular contact with other bar/club owners. Yet somehow manage to remain ignorant. I guess I need more friends who occasionally visit the island to stay informed

Business 101

1) Start a thread called "The List".

2) Put a set of rules at the beginning so that people who just click on the latest post don't see them and break them.

3) Be rude and condescending to these people who were only being friendly and make an instant enemy out of them.

4) Associate yourself with your friends bar and watch how people stop going there because you might be there.

Imagine how much damage that would cause? Just imagine.

2) why would you put rules anywhere else but the beginning?

3) more than one were rather unfriendly and antagonistic.

4) yet another unfounded and ridiculous statement, the type of statement you lambast on a startlingly regular basis.

They say there's no such thing as bad publicity but you are the contradiction personified. Our imaginary friends, not the imaginary one's you misread into every exchange, are quite explicit in that.

My spidey senses tell me that has stopped being friendly banter and started to move into bitchy territory, which as we both know, is against forum rules. So I'm afraid I'm going to have to leave you to your imaginary friends. Have a wonderful day and be sure to enjoy your next holiday.

"So our October trip had to be cancelled but from speaking to friends returning home and canvassing the opinions of some PDI regulars, it appears October numbers have still not returned to pre Covid levels.

Interesting times "

Interesting times indeed.

Just to share our views. We used to always venture to PDI towards the end of October and beginning of November, but seeing “The List” and a fantastic month 10 line up did put us in the state of FOMO.

As always, we have a blast and did notice quite a few good friends tailing into the end of October, beginning of November. So if there’s a shift in people pushing back their vacations as there’s some possible savings to be made is a viable argument.

We did hear that the first three weeks of October was heaving, so not sure how that translates into business for all the clubs, but many owners did share with us that they were very busy with a plateau into the final third of October.

Cost of living is certainly visible and prices have increased in PDI. Even taxis which were €3 default for many years are minimum of €3.75 and €4.25. We’re noticing that our holiday flight and accommodation has increased some 35-50% over the last 18 months and that our holiday spend has also increased some 35%. Nevertheless, we are fortunate that we can continue to holiday year on year as normal and accept that prices have increased globally.

We did note that June appeared to be a busier month this year, when it’s typically a wind down month before the summer, so maybe tourism is shifting and the seasonal variation is changing. It would be great to see some tourism stats for Gran Canaria month by month, YoY to see if this trend aligns.

More bars have opened adding to the landscape and if they are able to operate and be sustainable, then perhaps in the long term, as tourism grows in GC, along does the swingers demographic. Time will tell.

Next year, I personally would like to grab a bit more of November, but also as we enjoy the 90s nostalgia that winter pride brings. Gutted to have missed Snap this year!

From a play point of view, we don’t normally kiss and tell, but to share some in context to the thread…

First and foremost, we prepare for everything but expect nothing. But our full swap naughty nights involved a sexy single female in Before and a sexy couple in Eden. And a bit of naughty soft fun (not full swap) was to be had in Fun and Secret.

From a social perspective, we had the craic at Comeback, Black Bulldog, Route 69 and Mario’s.

Hope this offers some context and helps support the thread. And looking forward to getting back to PDI in April; unless we can get a long weekend in March for the fantastic Maspalomas Carnival.

And looking forward to getting back to PDI in April; unless we can get a long weekend in March for the fantastic Maspalomas Carnival."

very refreshing, an honest opinion based on current clubs and bars. Hopefully see you guys again if you're over for the carnival weekend.

I was not going to bother posting as some of the post above were getting beyond a joke.

However someone did bring it back.

The first two weeks of October this year was just as busy as previous years. It’s definitely died down the last two week. However saying that the dead months. June, July and August have seen many more people that past years. Having to book a table in the middle of summer this year in comeback was the only way to get a table in August.

So over the year it’s starting to spread more into summer than the normal winter season.

"So our October trip had to be cancelled but from speaking to friends returning home and canvassing the opinions of some PDI regulars, it appears October numbers have still not returned to pre Covid levels.

At last, some on topic comment.

October pre Covid had expanded exponentially, most likely down to FOMO but it almost outgrew the then scene and people even complained of overcrowded venues. Covid decimated the scene and we heard first hand of the hardship owners and particularly staff went through, with many not entitled to Government aid. There's a saying, opportunity rises from adversity and businesses adapted, some successfully, some not. Others saw the opportunity to expand the scene, opening new venues and rebranding/refreshing others.

As travel freed up, people returned to their favourite holiday destinations but with a marked decrease in numbers. It's shocking to see how many of our Fab friends didn't return to the scene and The List for October looked very different. We returned to a very different PDI and noticed straight away an increase in competition to attract the lesser numbers to venues.

In the 2 seasons since, we have seen more venues open but less people and this is confirmed by multiple long established Fab names.

Will numbers support the scene as it is? Is it actually a positive for businesses that there aren't the wild peaks and sudden troughs and perhaps a more constant flow of income?

Our discussions are NOT meant to be inflammatory, or provoke, they are just who we are and I feel strongly that the 'punters' should be able to discuss matters freely, on what is after all, titled a forum.

We’ve been 4 times now since first visit pride week November last year , we didn’t do many clubs that first visit as it was our first time doing clubs and PDI and held back a little till we got comfortable but since then we've been in them all apart from moonlight . We returned in February, then end of April before returning again just at end of October and just arrived back home Monday , we found latest visit pretty busy in usual spots but we didn’t venture as far or try as many clubs this time , we did notice the small clubs IN CITA like lux , temptations etc were very quiet any time we stuck our head in , I’ve no idea how they survive but we've had fun in them before and so we normally try them odd night and venture to all the clubs . As we didn’t try as many places it was hard to gauge how busy place was in general but we had a great time with friends and was main reason we didn’t go far ,we have already booked to return mid january for another break so hoping it’s busy enough then and we will definitely be in more clubs , We will most likely book either October or November next year again and going with fab forum the beginning of October looked mobbed and could be a good shout but we do like November for work reasons at home so that’s still to be decided .

I think the FOMO surrounding October will diminish and numbers will level out throughout the high season. We noticed in our April trip, how quiet it was compared to the previous years when it seemed like everyone was getting in their last fling before the Summer holiday season.

Like everything, the more familiar you become with things, the less the excitement and yet also the greater the resistance to change. We've been to GC that many times now, we'd struggle to count. Too many of our Fab friends have stopped going to GC, or go purely for a holiday and not the scene. The once informative Spain Fab forum has become commercialised, at the expense of open debate, much to the detriment of the overall Fab experience. Opinion? yes, of course but not with any malice or quest for financial gain and certainly not to get the cheers and backslapping from good friends. Those that know us, know, those that don't, only think they do.

Have a Fab weekend, time to get the Christmas lights up

We don’t mind a dates we go we always have fun and enjoy the liberal feel to island last April we found it quietest of all our visits but still busy enough , it’s probably the cheapest prices I’ve seen also so we’re actually looking again at a short trip in this period due to prices alone but November we do like best .

Indeed our October FOMO has been quenched over the past few years. From going on the 27th+, respectively it’s been the 23rd, then the 20th over the last two.

It’s has still been a blast, but now we have November FOMO.

Joking aside, from our perspective, we do enjoy being part of winter pride and haven’t had the full experience over the last couple of years.

Swinging has been enjoyable regardless, so definitely for us, we wouldn’t rule out being heavier into November again for our holidays.

Seasonal variation may be changing and from a swinger perspective levelling out due to other industries strategies, such as flight prices etc. Though we do hear that interest in the island from a swinging perspective is scaling and swingers from further afield are expressing an interest. If this, coupled with the tourism industry that GC is building, then long term it could be a good investment for clubs. The attraction of many clubs in a dense space is exciting. The sustainability of operating is then another question. For this, the Nash equilibrium must make sense for PDI as an attraction to swingers.

Slightly off-piste but hopefully contextual to the discussions. Away from the holiday swingers, visually I’m seeing more “weekend break” swingers where they’ll go to PDI for a long weekend, and also seeing a few visit the likes of Barcelona where there’s quite a few clubs in a reasonable proximity.

As it was raised, it’ll be interesting to learn whether people when holidaying and in particular swinging, what sort of balance and importance they have when it comes to social vs play.

Starting with us. Our mantra has always been “prepare for everything, expect nothing”. And we definitely love the social vibe. In fairness, when on holiday, it’s pretty easy to make friends in hotels, around the pools etcetera. So whilst socialising is an important aspect of swinging for us, it’s not our reason to come on holiday as we’d socialise regardless.

That said, sex is centric to swinging, and shouldn’t be ashamed to say that we do enjoy a bit of play from our swinging exploits and holiday.

October 2023 was no different and envisaged November 2024 will not be either.

Liking this thread, some good discussion points happening, some great contributions, good balance and how a thread should be.

Let’s hope it doesn’t get banned.

The voice of reason, as always and the one couple we can rely on to tell it as it is, having got the T-shirt many years ago.

I openly admit, I like familiarity (to a point) and would say, if it's not broke, don't try and fix it. To try and reinvent the wheel doesn't make the wheel obsolete.

In one respect, we preferred the old condensed scene and got to mix and play with so many nationalities then but I also realise people like the excitement of new venues, with new ideas on how things are ran.

I think some of the one sided discussions on the Forum would actually deter people from going when it should be the opposite. I think the punters should be able to discuss things freely, as quite a few have felt they could only voice their opinion in private, for fear of being shot down by one side, or another.

PDI is still a brilliant place but gone are the days when you were free to have and voice any opinion, now you have to comply, or on occasions face direct and indirect abuse.

Will agree with that last point. It’s come down to if you don’t agree with one bar/club you’re in the wrong.

Toxic culture is in full gear over here. Not just swingers clubs but also bars and restaurants.

But to be told because we enjoy secrets we are, 1 a drug user or 2, a pr@stitute is a bit much. Then for them to make out like they are the victim….

There is a lot more I could say, but I’ll keep my mouth shut about the rest of it.

Didn't he also say "reading is more important than writing". Great novelist, all works of fiction of course. No surprise there. We always usually visit in October but trying November for a change.

Of course October is still huge but November seems popular with the swinging community.

Excited to try all the new venues in and around Cita but we do wonder how they will survive.

Does anyone actual go to Lux, Lemuar or Temptations? Not sure how they stay open.

Patricia was a big loss to the scene, fantastic personality. Not many will likely remember that she used to work at the original Venus Resort, by day and Venus Club at night. Venus Club had a pool above the open rear of the Bar and you could order drinks through the opening. It was a great Club and Patricia took it on after it closed and opened Patricia's Swing Inn, albeit on a smaller scale(she also briefly worked in Imagine Bar). Sad that it didn't reopen after Covid.

Would definitely be interested in any recent reviews of Lux, as it was completely empty when we went to try it out and have since heard very mixed reports about it.

Definitely concur. Loved Patricia and had some fun nights out with her in Secret. I understand that she went over to the Balearics. But live in hope she’ll be drawn back to the Island.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get into Lux this time. But enjoyed our previous visits and enjoyed Gogy’s musical talent.

Can't see it reopening as another Swinger Club. Location, Location, Location.....

Even Lux is that bit out of the way and there's not the draw of Patricia, or the name Venus, to get people to venture and find it. People have their drinks upstairs and once they head downstairs, it's Secret, or Fun4all.

We were having some naughty fun in Eden a couple of years ago and another couple were also getting busy.

The chap in mid stride, looked over and said you’re Jordan right?

I said yes.

He said I remember you from Poison. About five or six years ago, you popped your head in through the curtain for 20 seconds.

Then paid me a compliment, shook my hand and carried on.

He was right, we put our heads in but as non smokers it felt very smoky and struggled to breathe, so it was a very quick stop. Friendly though.

It was very 'rustic' shall we say lol Smallish bar, no till, just Jean with his bumbag, a play area and toilet off from the bar. It was popular for a short while. Saw an Ice Dildo used there for the first time and they held a few quite successful gangbang events.

Long gone "

Weren’t they the making of Lee and Jo? I’m sure they used to frequent Poison.

Yes we did pop in a couple of times and the vibe was lovely. Just our little lungs couldn’t take it.

We used to go in Venus too downstairs. It was quite surreal one evening when it had been closed for a few years.

There was nowhere to go for a nightcap, so we went into Bunny’s and chilled with the girls one evening. The one girl took me for a tour and I thought I recognise this play area and jacuzzi. It was basically coming into the play area of Venus but from the other end.

"Poison closed maybe 7 years ago and the owners opened a Swinger friendly restaurant upstairs in Cita, called El Fuego.

It was in the corridor between Fun4all and Klamotte. A good few will remember it.

We were having some naughty fun in Eden a couple of years ago and another couple were also getting busy.

The chap in mid stride, looked over and said you’re Jordan right?

I said yes.

Did you guys ever go to Tu y Yo, out in San Augustin? Know you can vouch that Full Swap did actually open as a Swingers Club, met you and sackandcrack there. It was lovely inside."

Yes we did meet there. Full Swap was a lovely club. We also went there after it ended its brief life as a swinging club. The girls weren’t going to let us in until the chap said we were good friends with the owner.

So again we chilled in there. I think the girls thought he was lying and were surprised when W turned up and had a round of shots with us.

Thinking about it, there’s a bit of a theme going on here with us going to gentleman clubs. Need to have a word with Lizzie, who’s been the driving force.

We knew of Tu y Yo but sadly didn’t get out to San Augustin. Getting us out of PDI into San Fernando was an accomplishment lol.

Careful, you'll upset the locals with that last comment but then, what would we know, having never been there with our imaginary friends. Back in the day...as they say, back in the day
