We’ve been January and February to both pdi and Tenerife , most days u can get out in sun a few days T-shirts are enough if Cloudy etc , it’s always warm but we’ve always been able to get bathing , last year locals said in feb it was unusually cold thin layer at night still enough for us .

Yes this year was unusually cold (and wet) in January and February. December was, however, the hottest on record and thus far into winter this year winter is a myth with 30 degrees forecast for Tuesday.

The days are OK but the evenings might need a light jacket or something. If you have come from a UK winter then you probably won't feel it.
