It changes fairly regularly, but it used to be about 35 euros for a day pass, except on Thursday and Saturday when it was 85, but includes lunch.

The restaurant is quite reasonable, and always costs us less than 50 euros...

Zurich. NOT London.

We are at Venus from December 26th till January 9th.

Saturday BBQ is €85 a couple, other days are €35. Sundays can be busy as locals visit. Tuesdays are cocktail day with happy hour from 3pm till 7pm, 2-4-1 cocktails.

Beware the pints of Long Island Ice Tea!

At present, this is the days.

Monday Relax Day. 35€ so really nothing happening.

Tuesday Happy Hour from 15:00 to 19:00. 35€.

Wednesday Freixenet Party. 35€ so again nothing really happening.

Thursday Foam Party. 39€ (from 14h to 15h) can be fun.

Friday 80s music. 35€. but they don't play much 80s stuff.

Saturday Special barbecue party with suckling pig. 85€. (from 14h to 17h)

Sunday Champagne party. 35€ just a normal day but they sell cheap bottles of champagne lol.

Prices are per couple and entry is from 12.00

How easy is it to book to stay for the week?

We have always booked package holidays with jet 2 or TUI

Never booked flights and hotel separate

We have had a few day visits to Venus

But are seriously thinking of booking for a week

Any advice on how to book would be appreciated

Book direct on their website, put in the dates and hit show availability, looks like there is some availability from Mid January.

Anyone remember what time the restaurant closes?

Only going for a long weekend and eating before heading out to Cita in the evening will make life easier.

Installed the Pida Taxi app, anyone used that before?

I think it’s 10pm, but it’s generally so quiet in there it’s had to tell. We’ve certainly eaten there after 9pm. Restaurant up the road next to Spar is another option.

Not used the taxi app, but have successfully used the phone near reception - instructions on the wall.

We're at Venus Star from the 3rd to the 10th April. Very excited. Our very first swinging holiday!

For those that have been before, how much swinging do you end up doing there at the resort and how much by heading in to town to visit the sex clubs?

We've been day visitors before, but this time will be staying for the duration.

Last time we arrived about 12:00 and couples were already having fun on the sunbeds, so thought it rude not to join in!

Thing tail off a little in the evening as everyone has a few cocktails and some couples choose.to use the playroom. Sadly we had to leave at that point for a dinner reservation prior to Cita so can't comment much more!

For those who commented on the taxis, good to hear. I was more concerned about getting a taxi back when leaving Secrets at 3am!

Ooof. Sonneland is terrible for parking. I'm not sure if Venus have guest parking, might be worth an email asking, but you may have to drive around for a while and park on the road and maybe not near the resort either

There is a big open air car park at the bottom of the road before you go up the hill. Not a long walk.

They do not take bookings for day pass. Normally there is space but especially Thursdays (foam party), Saturdays (bbq) & Sundays (champagne party that is eur10 for bottle of Dubois cava) are busy so better be there early. We are just back from Venus and there was a queue outside the resort already 11.30 for Thursday foam party

"Roughly how many come to visit each day? "

Well if you look outside the front door at about 11:55 you'll see the queue. It's generally been about 5 or 6 couples when we've been. Some do come later, but then risk not getting in.

Alternatively, walk round the loungers and count red wristbands.

On the quieter days (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri) maybe 5ish couples, on Thu, Sat, Sun more. Difficult to say, we were there 11 days, first bbq was very busy, next week not so. Thursday foam party was always busy . But there are day visitors every day. Think it is getting quieter now the Scandis are going home
