Land of Strawberry Cheesecakes :-)

Hi guys and girls, it would seem there has been quite a few club changes in the Cita apparently since January when we where last on the island.

Gatsby has been reopened under a new name apparently, Patricia's is now Lux, Temptations have moved and a new club called Tantra has opened etc.

Anyone give an informed update with some insight into what is new in the club scene and what has changed and any reviews on the changes.

We are heading out out in a couple of weeks for October madness, so excited, can't wait

TiA

Gatsby is now a discotheque.

There have indeed been 3 or 4 new clubs/bars opened in Cita.

The newest is Lemur, which is owned by Albert and Elena who also own BeforeBar upstairs. Lots of places to visit and support

It's also worth noting that some of the existing hotspots have extended their premises.

Also 2X2 in La Sandia is in our opinion much improved and the 2x2 Meeting Point is proving very popular with a great vibe! Lots of places to go out in PDI!

Yes we have been enjoying the nightlife for a few years now often twice a year but have noticed there have been quite a few changes on the forums but yet to experience these developments to the Cita area

We think the new extension of Comeback bar looks amazing. It's modern, classy and its going to have a brilliant atmosphere when it's full of people. For those of you already on the island... 15th September starting at 8pm we believe.

We also think Before Bar is really nicely done and is another new place for people to visit if they haven't been to the island since before Covid-19.

Each to their own. But we personally feel that Cita has more to offer than ever before and PDI has more variety too.

Cita sounds better with more to offer now. What improvements have been made in 2x2?

Nothing major apart from the outside smoking area which is great large social area. The locker area is more ergonomically friendly and everything looks cleaner and fresher. Great music too. The owners are super friendly and really fun people.

The 2x2 meeting point opens earlier with very reasonably priced drinks and really gets people in the mood for later on

Gatsby was a vanilla club in it’s previous lives. Looks like it’s reverted back.

Lux opened in 2021, as did Temptation, both worth a visit. Gogy to play you a composition at Lux is a treat, and using the toilets at Temptation is unique.

Carry on away from Temptation and towards Lux, turn right and you’ll have Tantra which is a dress down club. €25/€35 entry includes 2/4 drinks, towels, slippers and locker. You’re expected to dress down once in.

Past Tantra, and Full Swap, the last place on the left is Lemur. Owned by Albert and Elena (Before Bar, so worth popping up there first and introducing yourself).

Black Bulldog, extended their bar late last year, which includes a smoking area.

And Before have gone XXL with an impressive extension to add more coverage.

The Cita really is rocking. But make sure you don’t make the mistake of ignoring the other centres. We’ve had some great nights in Sandia 2x2MP, Sweet Moments, 2X2. Studio 69 in the Yumbo and then Eden & Moonlight Dream in the Nilo.

Eden and Moonlight both give good coverage for Couples only nights, and Eden also cater for Single Men on given nights.

We’ve put a guide together, scroll down for the 5th revision. The guide is fresh from June this year.

We will be updating it later this year mind:

Looking forward to our third fix this year. October/November is going to be crazy. Though I suspect September, December into 2023 isn’t going to be too far behind!

Thankyou for this. Perfect now we really can't wait to get back to pdi in a couple of weeks.

Mid Cornwall

My advice is try them all and find out what suits you. One size doesn't fit all.

Be warned, no two nights are the same and it's about whose there and not the amount of people.
