Our Ryanair account shows the return flight home from Fuertuventura cancelled (flying into GC on jet 2, home from Fuertuventura on Ryanair)it says CANCELLED in big red letters across the booking.

Went on Ryanair chat and apparently unless I've received an email saying cancelled its still on even though in "our booking" section shows cancelled in big red letters.

Anyone had this non cancelled, cancelled flight.

We always used Autoreisen as they have full insurance with no excess and a return with tank full policy but like all rentals they quadrupled after COVID so we now use busses which are cheap, clean and frequent with no parking problems and we can have a drink anytime.

UK licence fine.

We've used Plus Cars on all the Canaries, generally airport collection.

No hidden extras and no drama.

The prices have shot up since they started renewing their fleets after Covid but that applies to all the rental companies.

The Cita Centre is something to behold.

It could be classed, not too sure of the architectural technical word but think it's shithole.

The outside has a huge wonky gnome and some super heros, bit like a closed down theme park.

The basement looks mildly post apocalyptic and a bit scarey.

But, but, it's brilliant, everything you need for a fabulous swingers holiday.

Don't be put off by your initial sight of the place, our jaws dropped when we first set eyes on it and thought our first swingers holiday was set to be a disaster, it wasn't, best time ever.

Haha I must admit it is very surreal walking along the perimeter of the Cita Center. As you perfectly described, Superheroes and wonky oversized gnomes you think what the fuck. Along with replica monuments of famous landmarks, some irrelevant.

It seriously is a mind fuck and makes you wonder what level of hallucinogenic drugs the architect was taking at the time.

And from there the basement does knock up images of dodgy 70s city subways which have that eerie feeling walking through them in the early hours.

Like many of the CCs, they do look tired and dated, and levelling out, flattened and rebuilt wouldn’t go a miss.

However, for us, that’s part of the magic and what we love about PDI and is a false fascia, as the clubs and bars contrast this and inside they have nice decor and some real classy.

And we have to say, aside the clubs and bars, Marco Polo’s steaks are superb!

If you do dare venture in during the day, there are some sex shops to do a bit of shopping and Mac’s Tearoom hidden in the corner is a treat is you’re looking for a tea and a cake… Or some Sarsons Vinegar with your pie and chips.

So yes, shithole could be a good word to sum it up, as many have said this before. But as we all know, it’s our shithole and we love it!

For the surreal experience, if you are into that, try visiting CC Faro2.

90% empty (2 restaurants, gift shop and a hipodino left), crumbling concrete, withered flower bed and, best of all, elevator music being piped around.

As you stroll around, you are wondering where all the zombies are hiding and from which direction they will attack you.

It would make a great film set!

I was a regular to Quest in Leeds before lock down but not been around much since and the gf want to explore so was going to take her away and surprise her in visiting Spain.. had heard of a couple of places to go but again, not been around for a while now.. any advice is much appreciated. We are not your classic swinging couple whose life revolves around this scene, hence why we love PDI. We can have a holiday and dip in and out of the scene. It's a beautiful island and has lots to offer.

For those who love the different surfing activities, this is the island for you.

We find PDI liberating and love meeting different nationalities and being part of the LGBT+ community, not just the swinging one.

We mentioned setting up a day and time to get everyone together whose there at the same time. We felt it was a good idea, especially if you are like us and not part of a swingers friendship group/cliques or it's your first visit to the island.

We will post date and time nearer the date for those interested.

This will be for both couples and singletons .....

Also note that this is to socialise, no expectation to play, it's all about compatibility.
