PDI daytime

Hey guys, just wondering what the vibe in PDI is like during the daytime? Not necessarily to play (plenty time for that later) but more interested in people’s daytime routines before the real fun begins.

Chill at the beach? Daytime drinks? Hidden gems worth a visit? Good bars?

Any pre night out rituals before the crazy starts? Suggestions/recommendations would be much appreciated

Lay on the beach people watching, put on "who's nearby" on Fab. A bus trip to Puerto de Mogan is a nice day trip

Handy to know that Studio 69 is a stones throw from our apart hotel? We tried to find it in Feb but gave up and ended up in the Cita Centre! Having found them on FAB we now have directions?!!

We won't be in PDI until Sept.... then again in Nov..!!

It’s quite easy to find as it’s behind Sparkles right in the corner. Had some great nights there. So definitely put on your list.

A little gem for us. Only opened 10 months ago is Mac’s Tea Room in the Cita. It’s on the ground floor and hard to find if you go inside and walk the maze of the Cita.

The best way to find it is looking at the entrance of the Cita (Av de Alamania side), look to the right of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and there a side road (maybe gated in the night). But rather than walk through the Cita. Go down this alley and turn left. You’ll see the Animal Charity Shop (which I believe is worth a visit and can have things like tents and chairs) and next door is Mac’s Tea Room.

They have a great selection of cakes, scones, pastries, pies, drinks, coffees, cream soda.

Definitely worth a visit.

Walk along the promenade opposite direction to Maspalomas dunes for 45 minutes ( some steps but all promenade walk to San Augustine- It’s a lovely change of vibe beautiful beaches and quiet after you leave the main strip with lovely restaurants and bars for a nice change of culture - more Spanish feel. Nice day out on foot.

We also love the walk in melonaras past all the new bars….lovely chilled atmosphere for a change
