Gran canaria advice

Shout out to the experienced GC jet-setters please!

We are looking to go GC at somepoint soon this year for the very first time. Ideally we would like to stay somewhere all-inclusive and we want to be right in amongst it all/very close to all the sexy fun! but not necessarily a swingers only resort this time, would be really nice if it's renowned for other swingers staying there though.

Thanks in advance and looking forward to your suggestions??

We have friends that often go AI and stay in Abora Catarina, a short walk from the main centre of filth.

Not a swinging hotel but very popular with swingers.

We go regularly to the Caterina and it's location is perfect.

The food is typical all inclusive, perfectly edible but far from gourmet. The beer is Amstel on tap and the red wine is fairly good, again on tap.

The rooms are bright and clean and most have views of the pool or garden unless you lar extra for the 5th floor which has fantastic views of the dunes (views also available from the naturist roof terrace)

At present they are doing some major renovations to one of the blocks by adding a new pool and terrace jacuzzis for some ground floor rooms and whilst it didn't cause is any issues at all it does mean they have reduced capacity as they also closed the block adjacent to the one being worked on.

If you want AI then Catarina is it.

But we prefer sc as so many choices and so many different bars.

Sometimes with AI you think you have to stay so you get your monies worth..but PDI Maspalomas and Melonares have so much mire to offer

Gotta admit the catarina was definitely food for location! Food was OK and the drinks OK

Entertainment wasn't to bad either from what we experienced and added bonus of the aqua aerobics

Rooms are nice too.. spacious airey and bright! Beds comfortable although fall apart in the middle

Another vote for the Catarina here, currently actually in the hotel as I type this on our 4th stay in the last few years, agree with all the above comments, ideally located and great value for money

If you read NI Two and Colourful Couple’s posts, then you’ll see that they’ve both spent their valuable time and put effort in to write and describe pretty much what you’re asking.

I have no reason to discount their views and see that Hedo Cpl concur.

Thanks all! Very helpful and informative. We had thought about picking a adult only hotel like "Gran Canaria Princess" but from the messages displayed and received this one hasn't been mentioned so guess not

We have stayed at Gran Canaria princess and found there were quite a few swingers there. The downside being there is no nude tanning. The upside being that they are competitively priced.

There is also HL Suite which does offer rooftop tanning and is nicely positioned to access most of the centres you'll be interested in. Well frequented by Swingers.

Neptuno has no naked tanning but known to Swingers and right next door to Yumbo.

Also look up Gold, Greenfields and Playa del Sol.
