Please can you tell me which is the best bar for cocktails

We ha e been going to Gran Canaria for years and still not had the perfect proper made cocktail where you can actually taste the alcohol and not the ice

Any suggestions peeps please

Atelier definitely has a good reputation.

We tend to find there may be one or two cocktails that some do very well, but not so good with others.

We’ve had some lovely strawberry mojitos in 2x2 and watched them being built.

We also enjoyed a few in Studio69 last year. Saskia built some really nice ones.

Great thread though and it’d be great to see people post their favourite places and the cocktails they had, as we love a cocktail or ten.

Yet to find a very good piña colada. So if anyone has a recommendation, our friend would love to hear.

So far the best pina colada is in El Senador ( not sure if i spell it right ) it is restaurant with a terras and sea view in Maspalomas. Me and my friends every holiday go there just for pina colada.x

Also Tipsy Hammock do amazing ones which I found very strong, maybe I'm a light weight

order one in caterina, when they give to you hand it straight back and tell them you want a proper one. it worked for me.

Cocktails in typsy hammock taste like they are watered down to me…..lovely place to go but hate jam jar drinking

Gran Canaria

"El mono malvado" in the first place and "La azotea de Benito" in second place are (in my opinion) the best cocktail bars on the island. Both places are in Las Palmas de GC, a good option if you visit the city and have a quiet drink.
