I know its not really swingers related but I'm sure those who go to PDI used to go here as well. Just saw a post on Facebook saying it has officially gone bankrupt. We used to love that place when we was out there. Always a good fun night when having a night off from the swinging. Will be missed xx

Many a great night we had in sparkles, brilliant entertainment, hopefully they will all find employment elsewhere soon.

This pandemic has been the ruin of many a business,and with no governmental help on the island I'm surprised so many have not gone out of business earlier

PDI will be a different landscape when tourism opens fully again

Hopefully once tourists start coming back we can re-build the industry here? It may be difficult and different for a few months but in the end I'm sure GC will bounce back.

Everyone here is working towards the same goal.

I'm surprised more bars haven't gone the same way as they work on such tight profit margins. It's cutthroat at present in that marketplace

Not bad thanks still getting furlough pay which helps, no more threat of redundancy for now anyway, hopefully back flying on the 17th of May (thats the plan anyway!) Been working for one of Chelmsfords Chinese takeaways delivering for a bit of holiday saving haha. Hope your both well x

Yeah think we’ve been to them all in there, but sparkles was always a head and shoulders above for us

Only problem is that place is always rammed, if you don't get there early, you aren't getting a seat.

Ricky's has now moved 1 unit over to where Cheyenne's was but still going. Hope to see all the gang .in either late may or late august

What a great shame Sparkles was amazing, we had many a fantastic night there, superb queens and very friendly bar staff who looked after us so well. Was a great family feeing and lovey place to meet other LGBT ?????? people. Really hope that it reopens again!!

Yeah that’s him. They had some great queens down the years. I remember seeing kerry katona there one pride. She was so off her tits I’m not sure she knew her own name. Sang 3/4 songs... I say sang, she shouted a lot and made the audience sing for her!

A vanilla couple friend of ours qa there 2 days ago. Said they had a Pre-show entertainment of some singers which were OK but not amazing, but the proper show was funny and good

Yes,They went bankrupt due to covid. The old owners Andi and James have moved back to the UK. Tony (Dinah) is still in Spain. They have given their blessing for the new owners (a father & son) to keep the name.
