"Ryanair will not refund if you have to cancel due to Covid" They refused to refund or change our flights (unless we paid). Flights were to France, so the 14day quarantine was needed on return to the uk. I did a claim on my credit card , they refunded the money, Ryanair contested it saying I’d agreed to their t’s and c’s, I contested that saying the service they had sold me was no longer fit for purpose. | |||

They didn’t pull the plug for good of themselves, not the good of their customers, I learned that when trying to cancel/change our flights. I saw the boarding log of the flight we should have taken , it was sent to my credit card company as part of their appeal against my charge back. It was a long list of “no shows”. So all those people, including us ,had paid for flights before the safe travel corridor closed . So Ryanair still had our money, and the flight left mainly empty, that’s not putting customers well-being as priority. It was the final straw for me with Ryanair, we’ve endured their terrible customer service and vailed pricing policies for years, we’ll never use them again. On the flip side, jet2 just refunded our money for our October trip, didn’t even have to contact them. | |||
