Ryanair still flying

So it seems Ryanair are still flying to Spain and the Islands. Does anybody have a flight booked in August and is still going despite the quarantine? Has anybody rebooked their flights to another destination or another time and paid extra? Not really interested in Ryanair bashing. Just interested in people's plans.

Costa Del Sol Spain / Manchester

Flew with Ryanair yesterday, Liverpool to Malaga (got a place here)

No problems with the flight although it was only about 40% full,I was worried it would be cancelled.

We are still going to Gran Canaria on Monday. Ryanair are flying and getting through to them to try and rearrange is a night mare .

We have booked some extra insurance that covers us in a place that the fco advice against. We will have to Quarantine when we get back but that’s not really a big issue for us

Let's pray the quarantine at least returning from the Islands is lifted soon

I flew Ryanair from Bournemouth on Tuesday to Tenerife. Excellent flight a quarter full. Tenerife is opening slowly so don't expect facilities to be fully available. Puerto de la Cruz is very quiet.

I’ve been using Ryanair to get in and out of Portugal, which is in the same boat, so I doubt you’ll have any issues - they’ll likely keep flying as long as they’re allowed!

We were due out to Alicante today but moved our flights to November as we are unable to quarantine when we get back.

Booked a week in Turkey last minute to ease the disappointment.

Only issue we face with Ryanair is that because we swapped to cheaper flights, we only get the value of the later flights if we have to change again, which is a bugger. Still, hope November works out.

We flew to the Canaries with Ryanair a few weeks ago, and will be flying back to the UK in a few weeks (hopefully after isolation restrictions are lifted). No problem with Ryanair - just had to wear masks the whole flight and through the airports at either end.

Returned to East Miss airport last night From Tenerife we had completed the forms online however some hadn’t and we were all waved through so no real clue as to the people who had not registered for 14 day quarantine and doubt many won’t isolate for 14 days and hence Government won’t have a clue.

I’m flying out to Benidorm with Ryanair a week today for a 2 week holiday with my kids. I’ve booked a private villa with a pool. Will spend most of our time there and have a few evenings out for entertainment. I’ve mostly been working from home since March so the 2 weeks quarantine isn’t going to affect me that much

From the what we have seen everything seems really well organised so I’m Sure you will have a great time although it’s a dam shame you can’t pop over here this week. Lovely profile

We were booked for the middle of April and got a full refund from Ryanair (in July I think).

The Hotel said they would allow us to rebook at the same rate for the future, so we’ve booked out for 30th October for 2 weeks.

Flight and Transfer is about £100 cheaper (We do book 2 cabin bags, 20kg case, priority boarding and seat) so £320 for 2 people isn’t bad.

Run my own business from home and the better half has got the thumbs up to work from home if quarantine is in place.

So unless anything changes from the current situation in a negative way, we’re prepared and good to go.

Whether we are isolated and enjoy the sun, whether we are alfresco and socialising at distance, or whether there’s a bit more normality and we are able to go to some club, we’ll take it as it comes.

Regardless, we plan to enjoy the weather and our holiday, stay pragmatic, be agile and adjust accordingly, but safe at the same time.

we flew back to Malaga from Stansted yesterday only 15 on the flight.... like a private hire!! They have to keep running the main routes to keep their slots, any couples coming over give us a shout.
