"Sacking the person who reports the data didnt improve the numbers in August 🤷♂️ Who will he sack now 😱" The much bigger issue, for the whole world, are the sackings in the defense and intelligence departments.

"Even managed to comment before the figures have even been released! Was I wrong No need to apologise at all. Dow Jones and Nasdaq at record highs. Trump has been saying for months that the Fed needs to cut interest rates. Powell needs to go. Unnecessary government employees being laid off. Trump’s hugely successful immigration crackdown having an impact on jobs demand. Net immigration heading for zero in the US. We need to do the same in the Uk. US unemployment up slightly from 4.2 to 4.3%. Wages up 3.7%. US economy doing way better than the UK.

"No apologies required, seems I was right. Did I hear something about rewinding on tarrifs as well ? I think that was the word, rewinding. He does get to keep the concentration camp though, winner winner chicken dinner " Re: the rewind of tariffs…. Now the full federal circuit board of judges has said that the tariffs specifically levied under IEEPA are illegal… those are basically the “liberation day “ tariffs…. However they have allowed them to stay in place until October 7th to decide either how to repay the money to importers, or allow them to request an appeal to the Supreme Court (this is what Trump will do) It’s going to be interesting to see how it is argued and it’s going to have to be novel because it basically says at the very beginning of the constitution (section 1 part 8) that the power of the purse is held by congress
