In moving the space command centre,

Quote

He added the move would create 30,000 jobs and billions of dollars worth of investment in the city, while criticising Colorado for its mail-in voting laws, which he said played a role in his decision. He also claimed the people of Alabama "work so much harder".

Punishment for those that didn't vote for him ?

He's a vindictive bastard.

If it's perceived as punishment locally, might that not shift Colorado to a resentful blue long term?

Taking away the noise of getting one up on Biden, who got one up on Trump..

Isn't this the correct move if it consolidates the centre amongst the existing infrastructure that is dedicated to Space defence?

BOSTON (AP) — A federal judge in Boston on Wednesday ordered the reversal of the Trump administration’s cuts to more than $2.6 billion in funding research grants for Harvard University.

U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs sided with the Ivy League school in ruling that the cuts amounted to illegal retaliation for Harvard’s rejection of White House demands for changes to its governance and policies.

Harvard were always going to win this because it was money that had already been appropriated and the president and department of education cannot just take it back

They could in theory stop funding going forward in any future budgets….

Harvard were always rich enough to fight it (so it was a fight trump wanted! You take down the biggest dog and everyone else falls in line) But it shows how weak other schools were like Columbia and UCLA who basically crumbled at the trump administration threats

But Trump has been taking a lot of L’s legally in the last 10 days… this,

the tariff decision,

trying to deport 200 children under the cover of darkness on a bank holiday weekend,

California winning the national guard case saying the way and application of troops in LA was illegal (which has implications for his impending operation in Chicago)

Years to go.

And who knows he might stand again in 2028!

Keep crying…..

There was no “commentary” in there buck…. Just factually listening all the losses Trump has taken…

Just as well I didn’t mention the multiple cases of grand juries falling to indite people in Washington for various frivolous reasons after the “crackdown”

Or the cases where they have been denied from deporting people to third nations….

Again… no commentary

Now … if I wanted to give “commentary” I would talk about Nigel Farage getting obliterated in front of the us house oversight committee today… but I will save that for a reform leader thread…. Stop trying to distract me!!!!

Yeah, Congressman Jamie Raskin's blistering attack on Farage at the House Judiciary Committee is well worth listening to.
