Part of me feels like they voted for her. They knew what she is like, what her political ideas were. They chose her.

They should either get behind her and help guide her, or they should stop bitching amongst themselves and the press and do something pro active about the situation.

But this endless whining, back stabbing and one upmanship is getting really old now, and frankly they need to do better, for their people.

Not all that North of North London

"And the second place Richie Shunack take PM some one we can trust with the economy."

I'm not sure Sunack is someone to trust with the economy either but at least he has a basic grasp of economics.

Yes she should go, her position of having the backing of her party members but not her MPs was always going to be tough but this is ridiculous. Her position is complete untenable.

Ad when she goes there needs to be a general election.

They didn't vote for her though, Tory MPs wanted Sunak

couple, us we him her.

I genuinely believe that Sue from sooty and sweep, you know the glove puppet, could do a better job than Truss.

Remember when she was foreign secretary and the shit storm she caused?

Why did they think she'd make a good PM when she'd struggle to find her way out of a cupboard.

Central

The country deserves better than to be subjected to the insecurities and instability of the 0.02% deciding who should lead us. 12 years of insufferably bad consequences, as the UK has gone further down the pan.

It should be upto the population, so that the next PM and party in government, has a manifesto and leader that's known and understood.

I'd like the voting system to change. It's not even on the horizon for now though.

Just looked for a next PM thread and this was the closest. So if they don't want a GE or leadership race, wouldn't it fall in the lap of dept leader of Trussonomics - Coffey?

PR absolutely has to happen. If KS really has the best interests of the country at heart rather than the labour party he would make this happen to avoid yo yo politics and give the country some stability.

Hopefully Labour need the support of Lib Dems to form a gov. I think labour will get 100 seat majority.

Glasgow

She should go; now. She is not only incompetent but arrogant and stubborn. A frightening combination in PM.

She won power by making promises that were patently undeliverable; and then doubled down on them!!!

Put it another way. A surgeon got the top job in an obesity clinic because he promised he could remove 3 to 4 stone in weight in 1 day.

As soon as he gets the job he says by cutting the legs off the patients. Would they let him keep his job?

Yes but that was another time..

He's fulfilled the seemingly unwritten rule that in politics if you completely fuck up in a job it's ok to come back if the person who took over was equally crap but is no longer in office..

A variation on 6 points of contact, 3rd last incumbent of incompetency or summat..

It's a shame the Andrew Neil interview hasn't surfaced again, I think it went something like,

Hunt "I am a capitalist with a successful record in business"

Neil "you've had three businesses, two of them were a bust and the one that succeeded you were a minor partner with no input to it's operations"
