Seen them at least 10 times. Last gig I went was the O2 two years ago. First time I saw them sober and got right down the front. Probably my favourite Maiden gig after Donington 92 which was my first time. \m/ \m/

Random Bruce Dickinson Factoid: Aside from being an awesome frontman, our Bruce was also a very gifted Fencer (as in rapier fencing, not fence erecting - although he may or may not be good at that to) in his day

Thought No Prayer was their weakest release for that period. Has a couple of OK songs. Noticed there isnt much love here for the Blaze era or the post Blaze era.

His autobiography was fucking awesome. Couldn't put it down. Was real eye opener to a lot of Maidens history. Speaking of, I might stick the Early Years DVD on.

My first gig was NEC No Prayer For The Dying tour, weng on to see them a further 7 times best being their last Monsters of Rock in '92. I saw Bruice after he split with Maiden at a solo gig and met him after the show. I told him he sounded taller on vinyl (hes quite small) this was probably the stupidest thing I've ever said to a celebrity lol..

No prayer album for me has some of their best songs, think I played my CD to death and had to replace it.

Blaze Bailey was a big no in my opinion, didn't like his voice, but Bruce's solo album was brilliant, The Magician was one hell of a song.

That explains why they only ever play one song from that album, ever.

I liked Tattooed Millionaire but never got into the others the same way.

I loved the cover art so much, I would redraw them and add in my own creative spin here and there.

The 50 foot eddy is still the best part of any concert I have seen.

Maiden fans are unlike any other fans out there I have found.

I loved the number of the beast album. However I dont think their book of souls album gets enough credit. It grows on you.

Balze has done some great solo albums since leaving Maiden. I like Wolfsbane too but the solo stuff is better. One of Wolfsbane used to manage a CD Warehouse shop where I grew up.

I think if you judge each separately they were all perfect for their own time. Blaze however had the most daunting of tasks. Your cute btw

Ive seen them at arenas.. but I would have liked to have been around in the d'ianno years to see them in smaller venues, though i would have been about 3 years old.

Two impossible questions

Possibly Powerslave. However, I know this will probably be sacrilegious or blasphemous in the eyes of many but I actually absolutely love Dance of Death!

As for favourite tracks I’m not even going to attempt that Rime of The Ancient Mariner and Wasted Years have been played a lot this week though.

Last time I seen them was in Dublin but can’t remember an awful lot about it other than the supports were awful and Maiden were awesome.

Saw them on Powerslave tour! Queensryche were supporting. Very good gig.

My favourite album is Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden. My personal fave is: Phantom Of The Opera" Folowed by Charlotte The Harlot".

Killers is also very good album too! They have that punk meets heavy metal vibe on these albums. Paul Dianno's vocals are excellent on them. I much Prefer Dianno over Dickinson though!!!

Went to see them on Numver of the Beast tour in Bfd with Budgie supporting. I was more into Budgie though they were good too.

However Paul Di'Anno's Maiden albums are far superior than Dickinsons imo.

The Drifter track is a personal favourite.
