I do mine when little one goes to sleep, hoover first thing in the morning, tidy up her toys if she has an afternoon nap and wipe down surfaces/wash dishes as i go.

Washing machine gets bunged on first thing if ive enough washing to do.

Nothing builds up that way

warrington

I'm doing it in dribs and drabs interspersed with moving stuff away from all the windows as having double glazing put in on Wednesday....only trouble is in a small flat there isn't really anywhere to move stuff to(and it doesn't help that I'm a bit of a hoarder)...oh well...it'llwork out somehow I guess (hope).

I constantly do my cleaning, a bit every night, so it never builds up. At the weekend, especially when its sunny, makes me want to do more. I always iron after each load is dry so I don't have a build up of ironing either. I don't like untidiness or anything out of place

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

This is how to clean the house:

1. Open a new file on your lappie

2. Name it "Housework"

3. Send it to the Recycle Bin

4. Empty the Recycle Bin

5. Your lappie will ask you "Are you sure you want to delete Housework permanently?"

6. Click Yes button firmly

Feel better? Works for me every time

I find zoning out while doing the ironing to be oddly therapeutic.

Door's open, ironing board's up, huuuge pile of gear to be done, be careful with me lingerie - cool setting only
