We all give it and usually with the best intentions. But how good are you at actually taking advice your given.

Sometimes if someone gives me advice that i dont want to here but i know they are right i might sulk before i take it

Ahhh well in that case, if I have asked for advice, I will have chosen who I asked and respect their input.

With regards to feedback, I can listen and ask if I don't get where they are coming from.... as long as there is logic in there somewhere I'm happy enough to consider what they are saying and more often than not take it onboard.

No logic and I stop listening... and often take the piss.

It depends who you ask, and what type of advice you need.

Sometimes we just need confirmation of our own mind.

I've been around a long time now, and learned a few lessons along the way, some more costly than others, as I'm sure most of you have too, and I'm just as happy to offer a few words of wisdom, as I am to receive it.

I only ask advice from people who I know can offer it without being judgemental

Personal advice then yes I am very good at taking it. I would only ask those whose judgement I trust and I feel don't have a hidden agenda when they offer me constructive advice. I'm never offended by it as I know I'm not always seeing things from every perspective.

On the forum then no I'm not good at taking it. I wouldn't ask for it either. I would never start a thread asking for profile critique or photo critique because I'm a cynical old git and believe that some people would enjoy the opportunity to post criticism and I wouldn't give them the opportunity. Of course I don't really agree with helping others with profile anyway as it should remain a true representation of yourself.

Of course there are a few people that I know would give me constructive advice on swinging and if I needed to, I would ask them privately

Rather depends on who is giving the advice and whether I need it really.

Some give advice based on sound thinking, logic and experience and others make it up as they go along.

If i ask for advice i will listen but if its given when i wasn't asking for it then often i ignore.

I rarely seek advice, if I was to ask for it, I'd listen and take it on board.

If I haven't asked for the advice, then I don't listen ... I trust my own instincts and intuition

I do take advice from friends, but rarely at the time...I tend to have to go away and mull it over, before I will accept it, I can be perceived as stubborn, as a result!
