As a regular to the chat rooms, and sometimes the forums..i would dearly love to know some of yur responses to my question..

The majority of Moderators are fair and square and do a wonderful job within the rooms as said moderators..however,is it rigth that some abuse they're right as a moderator to manipulate people into meets and then ban them for meeting sombody else??

Or does it state in the title of mod, that they may threaten to ban people if they talk or meet others?? Please enlighten me...

sorry hun can u just explain what manipulate people into meets means? i dont get it, its a bit early for me to think stuff lol

but i do think that NO ONE should be threating to ban people if they wanna meet someone else. its quite strnge to be honest lol its a swinger site after all lol

We're both chatroom mods and we are there to see that the rules of the room are followed and keep the peace- end of story, that is all we do

Any threats, manipulation of others by mods (or anyone else for that matter) should be reported.

Chat logs are available to admin, so if any innaproriate behaviour has taken place, it it there to be seen by those who need to see it

Kitty, if you manipulate someone, it's like saying if you don't do this for me, I'm gonna punch you in the face, it's like threatening someone to pursuade them to do something for you

must say have found the mods on here to be brill not like another site that the mods do abuse their powers like the male halves baiing women who refuse to meet them and the female one who bans couples and fems because someone they have their eye on is interested in playing with them,you prob all know which shite sorry site that is , so well done mods on here ,i say

i agree to above, but do find that oen or two have issues in here, The rest are wonderful...and do a fantastic job in keeping fools at bay..xx

I agree.

Lets be honest... I got banned from a previous site through politics and because I refused to meet one of the Mods. (ffs, it was his wife, another mod, who was trying to get me to meet him)

I hope it doesn't happen on here. But if it does........ kick the buggers off !

id love to add my 2p worth but if i did id just end up getting shouted at all i have to add is that the mods on this site do a fantastic job compaired to alot of other sites and seem to care alot more as to the running of the site and to the feelings of its members...rock on all u mods coz ur all doing a fine job..xxxx stella

Manipulation comes in many forma, examples are... A jeweler's mind game is to convince lovers that the size of a gemstone reflects the depth of their feelings.

MP's manipulate all the time, giving half a story to have us believing this is the right choice, take the congestion charge they wanted to add to manchester, they tried to pass it off as all positive.

Banks manipulate by making it difficult for us to not use them, then allowing machines that charge for us to get to our own cash.

Shrewd or devious management, especially for one's own advantage.

Basically to manipulate is to take control of how you want things, or at least try.

well its good to know we are appreciated and while we personally do our best to ensure"fair play" we get our share of abuse to,as do all the mods on the site,perils of the job you might say, and id be inclined to agree with you.however ,when you get messages of such nastiness as was recieved by jan and i quite recently,it makes us wonder if its all worth it.i would love to reproduce said message in this forum,but am reluctant to do so as it is EXTREMELY unpleasant and disgusting to say the least.so much so that jan and i discussed leaving fab all together.if anyone is interested to see the message i will gladly pass it on to you privately,witholding,of course, the name of the sender.again i thank you for your support

i have always said there are some great mods on this site and some i get on very well with, but like in every walks of life there are some not so good.

and just becose most are great mods i do not think people should be in fear to be able to comment on something they feel is wrongdoing by a mod.

I would certainly be interested!!

I am a Mod on another board (nothing to do with swinging) and have seen some difficult times, but not too much abuse, seems I am lucky so far, but the pathetic arguments people can get into, and stand their ground even when they know they are in the wrong can be real tough to deal with at times.

We are moderators for this site..actually we were the first moderators for the site and to be honest we see so many things going down in here that possibly children would do in the school playground..isn't it about time ppl grew up and started swinging instead of arguing ..showing jealousy...being childish about things.

The moderators in the site are here to moderate the chatrooms im sure they are not here to cause problems between singles and couples .. I have never heard of moderators manipulating others but then i dont know what is said in other ppls whispers, as moderators cannot see them only the admin do this and im sure if they read things that were causing problems they would sort it out. If u have a problem that u think the admin can sort out then i suggest u write to _j_mark in a private message as they cannot always answer all the mail they get ...

i think what some people NEED to remember is having the lable mod does not turn u into a nice fair person, just cos many mods are.

i find it hard to understand that people will refuse to reconise some mods are NOT like them all. And can be quite nasty and bitchy and so on and so on. out of 10 mods only about 8/9 will be fair or honest nice and kind while being able to keep the rulse in place, bad apples appear everywhere. and why someone may be commenting about a mod, it does not meaning they are talking about them all which has been stated in this as well. now i need a wee bbl xx lol

Saddly..i am not the only one who feels a moderator id manipulative...i get so so so many mails from ppl who have ha dteh same problem...but they are all too scared to say anything incase they are seen to be the wrong do'ers..isnt that a sad case, when you cant come into a chat room, be happy ..chat and flirt without jealousy!! Sadly alot of what is said to others is said thru another chat medium so admin cannot act upon this.

As i said before, MOST moderators have been great and do what moderators do, and have supported me when in need..which does make this a site a pleasure to come back to.

If anyone has concerns about a mod then we want to look into it. Please report using the Report Profile link

If nothing has been done then we may just be monitoring the situation, the mods do a thankless task and just because there is a personality clash/grievance/issue with another member it doesn't automatically preclude them from mod duties

But at the end of the day the mods should be there to help not hinder and we take all reports seriously
