"the medics usually tell people about them when they are coucelling u about something bad that will debillitate you " They are now a general part of a crisis or care plan and you can choose whether you want to do one or not, but as already said they are not law abiding and can be overruled by the 1983 mental health act | |||

"I thought I would see more of them in my line of work and the company I work for changed all their care plan paperwork to include them. Have only seen one in the last few years though but think they should be promoted, too many people lose their voice once they become a long term patient no matter their health needs and the families make all the decisions" exactly my thoughts, its also hard to write one out because you have to state things rather than request things, alot of it is in how you word things | |||
