I don't get it.. Or American Dad.

It's like a really poorly written gag reel of bizarreness. I don't dislike it, it's just nothing in it makes me laugh.

The Simpsons on the other hand, I care about the characters. I know them. The gags are clever, are told on multiple levels , have multiple meanings and do the same thing to much greater effect.

I've never really been a fan of gag type comedy though, I just don't get it.

it's an adult cartoon started in 1999 by Seth MacFarlane I missed it the first time round as I was a Futurama fan but my sister pointed it out and it is now my favourite programme of the last 60 years. it's on ITV2 evenings, you might like it you might not
