Scotland - Aberdeen

Don't speak to me about the bloody post office! Ripped off by the main one up here! Mum on the other hand in a local little post office, paid less than 1/2 the price as I did for the same thing

Its probably because your round is on something called phasing, as is mine, which means it gets split between three other posties as extra duty on top of their own round, which they have to do after their own round.

8am this I was awakened by a knock at the door. Stumbling downstairs in my pjs I was surprised and impressed to see a postie with an Amazon parcel for me.

In the last month I've ordered 50 items from Amazon so was thinking what it could be...was it my mop head...Oooh the excitement.

"Good morning" says the postie, "are you Mrs Bloggs?" "Yes" says I, eagerly eying my parcel. "Do you have the card we left on the 15th as this is a redelivery?" "No" says I, "sorry" says the postie, I can't give you the parcel without it".

You couldn't make this stuff up could you?

Millions out of work and they employ people with grey cells in single figures. Never had a postie ask me for a card when delivering a packet to my front door.

Sell, we have had a delivery on each of the last two Sundays and on Saturday jus gone we had two deliveries, so not bad me thinks.

Also, I posted a parcel to Leeds on Saturday and the reciever email Sunday to say they had got it. 300 miles, can't be bad.

Royal Mail do have a lot of faults but its probably the best in the world.

As for deliveries being late on the day! Thats not the posties fault. Its the system he has been forced to work to.
