However my question is ... Do you shorten peoples user names?

I shorten them, or call them by their real name if they allow it and request it.

Or I just call them names and threaten to stalk them .... they soon respond!

It can be a bit confusing in chat, if for example two usernames begin with Lancs.. which i believe two or three users do.

Mine doesnt get shortened, lengthened, yes (selfopinionatedwanker, longboringpostson, conceitedselfobsessedtosspot). Still it keeps me breathing....

It didn't seem right to use wishyNsiren when she never uses the site. She leaves all this stuff to me and on the odd occasion she says, "Let's get a guy in," she'll have a looksee to see who she fancies lol
