Is there a thread going about what happened lastnight with 'punchgate' I had it on in the background and didn't really notice what happened until I rewound it. Ryan was playfighting and jokingly jabbed her in the arm in a room full of people as well, she laughed it off then asked to be called to the diary room and made a big song and dance about being aggressively beaten up.

It's quite mental behaviour, been reading on twitter and apparently she's made similar claims in the past about 3 other men punching her that she's worked with.

Please say someone watched it lastnight!?

I also watched the clip for tonight where she tells someone she was in pain all night and he had grabbed her and punched her in the ribs

Yes I watched it. I also watched bit on the side and everyone pretty much agrees that she made a mountain out of a molehill, total over reaction. I'm not sure what her game is, sympathy card maybe. If so she's badly misjudged it.

I did watch it. He did punch her. Everyone takes that sort of thing differently. If it was me I’d have brushed it off as playful but it could have been a trigger for her. The way she reacted meant that BB had to pull him up and give him a warning. However not content, she kept mentioning that he shouldn’t be in the house. She was quite distressed but I think she’s definitely struggling with mental health and maybe shouldn’t be in that environment.

Watch it again on catch up and fast forward to the bits with her in the diary room.

It actually made me sit up and I'm sure I was talking to the to screen it was that flabbergasting to witness, was like what the fuck are you on about, we all saw what he did, plus it's nothing that she hasn't been doing the whole time she's there, she's always play fighting and sparring with Ben the guy that's in love with her. Ryan was messing about it was so clear to see, there was a room full of people witnessing it.

She does seem to be constantly playing to the cameras. I don’t know why she laughed it off and then went to the bedroom and said ( to an empty room) ‘Jason Grimshaw from Coronation Street just punched me’ who even thinks in headlines like that? She should have gone to him and told him he really hurt her. I’m sure he would have apologised. She’s making out like he walked up to her and punched her in the face or something. She didn’t want to sleep in a different room in case she got nominated too. Skewed priorities?

I watched it and from what I could see she has completely exaggerated and blown it all out of proportion. It was not a ‘punch’, he was jumping around her making jabbing moves and one slightly caught her, there was no malice or aggression. They were both laughing and it was in full view of the other housemates (and cameras and crew). She’s a dangerous, devious attention seeker and could serious destroy his reputation and career. And discredit true victims of violence.

Personally, I think she is trying to deflect attention from her shenanigans with Ben as she knows she’s risking her relationship with her other half by leading him on.

I pity any man who gets involved with a woman like that, she’s very clever at playing the innocent victim and there will always be people who believe without any evidence. Ryan is just lucky it was filmed.

she is wearing a satin type gown which looks fairly loose on the area where he 'punches' her. the fabric doesnt even move which shows just how much welly he is putting behind the jabs!

she doesnt move or react or grab the area which allegedly was in pain....you know, typical reactions people have to somoeone punching you.

I've watched the clip at least 20 times, it looks like he may have touched her slightly but that's all. I can see how she may have been triggered if she's been beaten up in the past but accusing him of 'beating her like a punch bag' is disgusting.

She needs support because there's clearly something wrong. She's just said that "a grown man punched her repeatedly". Total lies.

He's so incredibly lucky that they were filming it and people can see what really happened.

Have a look online, the clip is on a few news sites.

I think they should take her out of the house for her own safety. It looked like she was triggered again just by talking to Hardeep. It's possible that she believes what she's saying so CBB should look after her and her mental health.

there was a documentary on last night about women who was in a house full of people. one of the people playfully shadow boxed around her, without even ruffling the satin robe she was wearing and now she is accusing him of aggressively assaulting her. this has meant that he got in trouble as she continues to develop the issue.

She did seem very nervous around Hardeep even when he was just talking to her. He interrupted her and she overreacted, but I thought it was the reaction of someone used to treading on eggshells.

I think they're doing a good job of showing what went on so people can make their own minds up.

The best thing is that it's got people talking about DV.

She may very well have an underlying reason that triggered her response but full review of the footage should not have resulted in him getting a formal warning and her being allowed to defame his character like that. It took Ben two seconds to realise she had massively over exaggerated her version of events. Regardless of if she has any previous trauma or not she is spreading very dangerous lies about someone which is beyond wrong.

I would not watch such contrived scripted,manipulative nonsense and the people manipulated are those watching car crash tv . The whole show would have ended series one if such made up dramas were not scripted to happen its the reason people watch it to see it explode and me course that must become more contrived and extreme

They are all in on the script and all play to the camera at all times

The manipulated are the viewers and they deserve what they get , i.e. car crash human non interaction squabbles and and targeted advertising x

I agree, he shouldn't have got a formal warning. Perhaps they were being cautious but they did say they reviewed the tapes.

Uncomfortable viewing and not entertaining in the slightest. The fact that every person she's worked with are only saying bad things about her. Also the men that have came forward to say she's done the same thing to them. Plus now there's people come forward saying she bullied them throughout school. Safely say she's ended her own career. Feel sorry for Ryan and his gf and all his family and friends watching all this.

For her to actually say the word assault is an absolute piss take. She said she's been assaulted by Ryan, told Ben that he repeatedly punching her 5 or 6 times in the ribs. Watching her trying to poison the rest of the house against Ryan.

Just watched the 40 mins live footage and Ryan was crying, Ben said in his interview how Ryan had been crying and isolated for the last 24 hours.

I don't know what reaction Roxanne was hoping to get.

Remember her in emmerdale when she played Jo Sugden and she was being beaten by Andy, she would have had a lot of training to play the part of someone that's been abused.

Ryan is just lucky it's all recorded because imagine for a moment that happened off camera, without actually seeing it people would believe her version of what happened.

To rack up over 11 thousand complaints on ofcom, to put into context to how bad the situation is, they only had a thousand complaints when Rodrigo said the N word.

I thought it was odd when she purposely fell fully clothed into the swimming pool but said Hardeep pushed her in!

Her fiance has deleted his twitter page, her twitter page has been deleted which he was running in her absence. Her Wikipedia page was hacked and said in her bio the day her career ended and also said she was a pathetic woman.

I just read that she’s quit CBB .. good riddance!

I think people only mention Emmerdale as it’s all she’s recognised for. Apparently she’s done some reality tv, stage stuff and b grade movies since then but nothing big. I would imagine word has got out in the world of TV about what she’s like and nobody wants to work with her.

I don’t think it’s fair to people with genuine mental health issues to suggest she behaves this way because she can’t help it. She’s chosen to be a pathological liar and inflict unnecessary stress and pain on others. I haven’t read anything defending her from anyone who knows her but there are plenty of people with negative stories to share. Some people are just plain nasty and selfish, it seems she is one of them.

Also, I don’t believe she ‘needed’ to be airlifted to hospital following her ‘horror crash’ last month. She claims she drove head on into a concrete wall and was unconscious for 30 seconds. There are no concrete walls on the oval racecourse she was on, she walked away with sprained wrists. But, it got her some sympathy, back in the papers and on our screens so she got her end result. The lengths people will go to what their career is up shit creek!

My experience of supporting victims of (domestic) violence is that this experience does change your perception of "minor / play / pretend" fighting.

And its this that makes me question her sincerity during her apology on TV this morning. I also question that the first time she saw the footage was on leaving the house, she had several meetings with producers who apparently said she had the option of calling the police to report Ryan if she felt the "assault" warrented it. They must have shown her the footage during those discussions? Hence she declined to report it to the police. I suspect its the weight of the public feeling towards her and as you say how many of her ex colleagues, and indeed her ex boyfriend of 6 years, who havent been able to say anything positive about her that has prompted her to make the apology... a desparate salvage operation. Whilst I dont wish her ill, I have zero sympathy for her as this was all entirely of her making.

I think is woman has managed to destroy her career in a few short days. Judging by all the karma comments from previous co-stars she must be an absolute c_nt and I imagine going forward many people esp men will have reservations about working with her plus the negative press will likely damage ratings if she were to be in a show.

I think single handedly she potentially caused damage to men and women. I dont watch the programme and would have had no idea about any of it. But cause ive gone purposely looking there is a millions of people who watch that programme and have seen the media since. She's only apologising to save her name, if the "attack" wasnt on film how far would she have taken it, she would still be crying about it now and trying to turn everyone against him which out in the real world will fuck an innocent persons life up for good. With all the karma comments coming from those who know her then id say shes known for being a lying, sneaky and manipulative person, shes one of these people who will do anything for sympathy or a bit of attention as she was even seen holding the wrong side of her ribs whilst crying about it. For someone who claims to be a victim of abuse (if it even was actual abuse) she should have known better, she knows perfectly well the difference between playfulness and aggression.

My son met a woman just like her. Apparently her ex boyfriend tried to kill her. We then had to put up of two years sheer hell from her to the point i was even questioning how well i knew my son. Its died down in the last year. I take comfort thats she is now doing exactly the same thing to someone else

She continued to say he shouldn't be in the house. Then when Ben confronted Ryan and he explained what happened to him and the other boys she came in crying afterwards saying he's lying he's lying he repeatedly punched me like this, then she demonstrated on ben how hard he did it.

Dan then went to the diary room to ask who is telling the truth and big brother said to Dan that they have reviewed the footage of the incident and investigated it fully and it's worth thinking about why Ryan hasn't been removed from the house! If you have sky download saturdays episode and watch just that one.

i Love the fact her PR team have clearly warned her not to use the word 'sorry' lest she shows admission of guilt or wrong doing.

'I got it wrong. I got it massively wrong'; she can say that sincerely and with conviction because its coming from the part of her brain that thought this would pan out well for her.

I've watched her on cbb..on the Jeremy vine interview and also the Emma interview. I have no idea who the real Roxanne is. I don't think she knows either. With her history of being a compulsive liar I'm still none the wiser if she is manipultive or mentally ill x
