Is revenge sweet or are you best waiting for Karma?

Depends. Karma is usually because the individual is actually a bellend and will bring it on himself.

Revenge will be your doing. The best revenge are the ones no one knows anything about.

Karma may take forever, but never mistake reaction for action.

As the old saying has it "Revenge is a dish best served cold!"

I don’t really believe in either!

Life’s too short for dramarama.

But I did once let the tyres down on a car that totally cut me up for the last space in a car park at Christmas : they deserved it!

Mind you it was about 20 years ago and I’m a *much* better person now!!

Revenge just reduces you to their level.

Karma....strange thing. If you wish it on others in a negative way be prepared for it to bounce right back at you...

Exactly - I think some people forget that about karma, especially when they have been pretty nasty themselves

Being consumed by revenge can be soul destroying. Karma does it really exist, probably not and if it does could take forever to come full circle.

Best bet is to just - let it go!

I don't think karma as its commonly defined exists. If it did good people wouldn't have bad stuff happen to them.

I don't go after revenge and dont believe in karma.

I'm a believer in rising above it all and moving on.

No point holding grudges, or going after revenge as that is allowing negative feelings to take over.

Why waste your effort on people who aren't worth it.

If someone is expecting a reaction, rising above that is probably the best revenge you can ever have. This will wind them up more than any thing, as it removes their alleged power.

revenge has a taste of hypocrisy to it I think. It’s not worth my energy to seek revenge, but I do laugh my ass of when I see karma in its splendour.

Hiding in the shadows

Revenge takes effort & energy, not something I'd bother waste on someone, no matter what they'd done.

I'd rather focus on my own life & making it better and happier.

But I do believe in what goes around comes around, sooner or later life will turn round & bite people on the arse... I may spare a few moments to have a little chuckle when it does

Karma is better. You had nothing to do with it and can still get your revenge further down the line.

Double whammy giving you a 2-1 lead

Have to agree. I moved all correspondence with ex to email so i have evidence if required at a later date. He continued to try and bait me - but that very knowledge kept me calm.

I don’t believe in karma

Seen some horrible stuff happen to the nicest people and some amazing stuff happen to some horrors.

It’s all down to chance.

Now revenge in some circumstances I can get behind. Nothing at that level has ever happened to me so I’m chill.

This... Karma isn't that hard to understand, it's just another way of stating causes have effects, actions have consequences. It's not some devine intervention, though it might seem that way sometimes as the full consequences have not been thought through. Revenge is a negative action and almost always has negative concequences for perpetrator.

Revenge? The idea might sound appealing, but it makes you just as shitty a human as they are.
