"I’m a big fan of foreign films outside of Hollywood. Three standout films are 1.) Taxidermia (Hungarian) - probably the most twisted iconic ending to a film ever. 2.) Dogtooth (Greek) - the weird meets the absurd. I suspect this might have a few on fab in stitches. 3.) A Prophet (French) - We’ll performed, great story arc and another great ending. Let me know if you’ve seen any of these, anything else you find interesting and any other thoughts regarding films. " Very cool above mine would be: 1) nightwatch - Russian film very cool story about light and dark good v evil 2) my name is courgette - French animated film about a boy who find his dead mum an goes into social care till he is adopted 3) akira - Japanese manga one of the original manage films total amazing and brilliant films | |||

There is another Australian film called Samson & Delilah about a mute teenager And his girlfriend who live on an aboriginal reserve going for an adventure in the city. It’s got hardly any dialogue but it’s a brilliant film and very realistic. I’ve been to the community where it was shot in the desert it is just like that. Another good Aussie film is Bliss, Based on the novel by Peter Carey & of course the famous & brilliant film Walkabout | |||

"Cinema Paradiso - one of the first subtitled films I saw. Loved it and still in my top ten films (I actually like the long version). Kontroll- Hungarian film about their subway and the ticket inspectors, add a killer who’s pushing people on to the lines and a love story (girl walking around in a bears costume). Subway -Luc Besson film with Christopher Lambert (not obsessed with subways honest) Downfall- Hitlers last days in the bunker. The Lives of Others - Stasi, east Berlin A very long engagement, Amelie, Oldboy, City of God, The Raid, The Ring etc… I feel sorry for those who don’t venture in to World Cinema because they don’t like to read subtitles. " Ooo I love subtitled movies and drama series. Ive seen the secret lives of others. Will check out the others too Telenovela La Reina del sur, Black money love (about 500 episodes lol) | |||
