I don't find these inappropriate at all, I think there excellent choices, I've long said I'd like Light my Fire played at my funeral.

I suppose it's not that appropriate for a burial though.

Road To Hell - Chris Rea

Remember them playing this many years ago at half time at Spurs in memory of a fan who had died in a motorbike accident and a collective gasp of disbelief going round the ground - they had to put a piece in the next programme to explain it was the guys favourite song and had been requested by the family who were at the game!!

I bought my uncle a pair of musical xmas socks for xmas once. He wore them on boxing day when we went oit for lunch, they kept going off so he took the musical thingy out of them and put it in his jacket pocket and forgot about it.

The next time he wore the jacket was at a funeral a few weeks later. Put his hand in his pocket, at which point his jacket started playing Jingle Bells

An uncle of mine wanted the Hokey Cokey song... "You put your left leg in, left leg out.....etc"

The undertakers took him at his word from his funeral plans. That coffin went in and out of the top of the grave several times! Everyone was in fits of laughter; it was his way and we loved it.

The undertakers had a cpl of cases of beer for their efforts!
