"Toffo's I could just eat a packet of Assorted Toffo's "

Somebody mentioned these on another thread a while back. I had forgotten all about them. Ever since I haven't been able to forget about just how good they actually were. If you find any let me know

Teesside

Rowntrees ‘Secret’

It consisted of a birds nest-styled chocolate coating with a creamy mousse centre (similar to the filling of a walnut whip.

They really were. I've just googled it (Yes, I'm one of those ) and they have been discontinued. We shall never again taste the fruity sticky goodness

It can be found on retail web sites but at a cost I find it hard to justify.

When I was a kid you could go into the shop on the corner and buy a small glass of fizzy drink on the way home from school. Some shops would sell you one cigarette and a match.

Although it's probably possible somewhere to buy it (for an extortionate amount) no doubt, I really used to like root beer, used to sell in McDonald's and some supermarkets.

Wow, I've just looked and it appears asda and sainsbury do it! In can form like you say as well, which is great for me as I'm not a massive pop drinker. May go and look in my local stores haha.

Not technically buying but I used to love hiring videos from our local video rental place. Was a family run business. Seeing your mates there, taking time to choose a video, cheap snacks and the fun of watching it back home. I was good. Always made sure I rewound them back to the beginning before returning.
