Under the Duvet

I think lust top trumps love every time.. that raw, animal feeling is just the best thing.

So how does lust feel to you?

Or are you more of a lovey dovey romantic?

Do tell

Good thread. This confuses me, I've loved someone but not lusted them and I've lusted someone and the sex has been amazing but I never fell in love with them.

Its definitely Lust at first sight not love at first sight for sure

Lust is my preference.... love didnt work out too well once the lust had gotten up and buggered off!!!

You’re all cynics!

Love every time. Nothing beats that feeling of emotional and physical security you feel with someone you love.

But then lust comes easy to me

Lust is short lived.

Real love lasts much longer.

But both together are pretty damn good.

There's a place for both, with the right person(s). I'm always hopeful I'll find someone I totally fall in love with, but lust after every day for the rest of time

I like the idea of love but I'm not sure it's for me - lust will do very nicely thanks.

Ooooh good question, naturally I ‘loved’ my first husband because I married him and stayed married to him for quite a while but the love I have for Ads is 100% different to anything I have ever felt, so I look at my first marriage and wonder was it more lust? I went to school with him and then met up with him again about a year or so after we left and then got married about two months after that, I do question which I was in love or lust? I knew him but didn’t know him that well when we married, we got engaged and then married with in two weeks (that’s when you could back then) of that happening and it was on the back of an argument! I think I was scared of being alone and he was my first proper boyfriend, the first boy/man that I ever went out with on a date, I was only 20 when we married. I think I grew to love him or just settle for what I had, then he fell apart and a year later I met Ads and it’s completely different, the feelings I have I’ve never felt before. I don’t know if any of that made sense lol. With Ads I want to look after him, I want to be the best I can be for him, we actually like the same things, we can be silly around each other and I can say some pretty stupid shit to him and he never makes fun of me for being a bit thick, even 2 years later my heart gets all in a flutter when I am waiting for him to come home, I get miserable if I don’t hear from him all day due to that thing called work, he is my everything!!

Geeky x

A cuddle after sex with someone you love feels much better than a cuddle with someone you lust after..... unless it's the same person then I'm chatting shite lol

Well said.

Every time Mrs gets out of bed I still have a cheeky look at her naked body and instantly want her, the listing has never disappeared.

I am fortunate enough to have both with my Mr. Also! Although I feel it's a different lust to when we first met... I feel it deeper into my stomach like a gripping, pulling feeling when I look at him.

Lust with other 'new' people feels like that heady, butterflies feeling... does that make sense? Lol

Lust is good but for me it’s a moment, it is an expression of a need.

Love is more all encompassing - it carries you through when things are hard. It lets you fly when things are good. It surrounds you and keeps you safe and warm emotionally.

Love isn’t pressure or expectation other than you give your true self to the other person completely. When you get that back from them it’s so addictive.

Yes I am a softie
