Mine (Mrs M) was a VW beetle 1303S that hubby bought for me back in our early days together.

Loved it, but sadly it spent more time with the engine out as it was a lemon, body was great.

What was yours?

A 1967 Wolseley 16/60. It had an interior like a gentleman's club, all wood and leather. Wish I still had it!

I'm jealous, I would have taken the 1303 over my Renault Clio in a heartbeat

I had a GT Tubo back in my youthful boy racer days. Loved it, although it did break down on more than one occasion!!

Don't knock the BMW trash! My Cooper S Clubman is the most fun car I have ever driven! Sticks to the road, which is essential with such a massive turbo on a tiny car! Completely different beast to the older Minis though!

1st car was a rover 100...Metro in any other language!

Fiat Tipo 1.4 i.e. It had those seats that drop back instantly at the pull of a handle. Had many great adventures in that car and the back roads of Lincolnshire.
