So I'm on the look out for a new fragrance, and thought I would ask all you gorgeous women your opinion.

I wear Gucci Pour Homme II at the moment but fancy a change.

So ladies, In your opinion, what is the sexiest most alluring........

Creed is wonderful but so is the price tag, ouch! Chanel Pour Monsoir is very, very nice but I have to say Clinique Happy is great and you get a lot of value for your money.

I tried Creed yesterday, smells amazing, I nearly shit myself when I saw the price.

In the end I got the new Hugo Boss Intense, smells lovely. However, wore it last night and within 90 minutes you couldn't smell it anymore. Took it back today and had to argue to get a refund.

Issey Miyake is lovely (I like the man's one on gents and the Florale on me). But the daddy of them all has to be Creed Aventus (although that could be due to the fact that the regular squeeze wears it).

Anything with neroli. A citrus oil. The fragrance itself is sweet, honeyed with a slight metallic tang and blends well with any other citrus oil, making it a natural in unisex colognes.

Citrus oils still dominate the world of scent but it isn't just a simple case of oranges and lemons. There is, in fact, a range of different ingredients derived from the humble orange - fruit, flowers, leaf and all - including bergamot, petitgrain and neroli.

Once you find which citrus you prefer as a top, heart or base note choosing a fragrance that suits you becomes a lot simpler.

The one I always get comments about are a local firm on the Isle of Arran called "Arran Aromatics".

If you like clean, crisp citrus/grapefruit aromas their Citrus Shores (its recently been renamed) is awesome & not crazy expensive like some bigger names.

"Issey Miyake is lovely (I like the man's one on gents and the Florale on me). But the daddy of them all has to be Creed Aventus (although that could be due to the fact that the regular squeeze wears it).

I treated myself to a bottle earlier in the year (Creed) and have quite a few compliments, so definitely worth the money.

People keep commenting on the cost of this fragrance ...can someone give approx ££ please?

£170"

Thanks...will stick to Herpes (whoops hermes)

I wear Gucci Pour Homme II at the moment but fancy a change.

So ladies, In your opinion, what is the sexiest most alluring........ "

L'eau de Issey Intense ... it smells great on my man

"If adverts are to be believed. Linx deodorant is all we need "

In their early days, they did one called Oriental - trust me, that lived up to the hype! Shame they stopped making it and there's been no other Lynx to match it, since.

"Nothing matched Fahrenheit, but they've reformulated and ruined it!

What?? Used to be my absolute favourite back in the day!!

Yeah, the EDT has gone all wimpy and the parfum smells like deisel! I think the knock-off's might be better!

"

When I was shopping around for an EDT, I sampled most of the brands mentioned. Most just smelled unpleasant, like bog cleaning chemicals.

The only one I liked, was Farenheit, so I forked out 50 quid and went home happy.

Turns out when I wear the stuff, it makes me gag and I can't stand the smell (facepalms). Waste of 50 notes.

North Bucks

Went to a wedding over the weekend where they gave out Sauvage in little party bags so I have snagged an ungodly amount that should see me through a year or two.

Also got some Homme sport and Lacoste White lurking in the cupboard.

I have a little problem with fragrance so have about 12 bottles currently and god knows how many testers.

Even if it made scarlet johansson fling her knickers at me I wouldn't waste that much money on an aftershave

It is nice but not worth the £170 price tag though.

I have a few aftershaves that smell just as good for 1/4 of the price.

Totally agree ... it’s bloody expensive but for anyone lucky enough to afford it then I’m lucky enough to smell it

My fave perfume is Chanel No5 and it’s a little more pricey and I wear it as much as I can but day to day a cheaper one

My friend's husband wears Creed Aventis and I don't like it. There's something in it that made me feel sick. Although, when I smelt the lid it reminded me of Polo, which I used to love.

You can waft past me with chanel no5 on any time love it

I've got Issey Miyake Intense, Diesel Brave Tattoo and 24 which are all similar to Creed in that they are woody/spicy scents. Also have Le Male Gautier.
