You don't say how long you've been together. Was yours a long standing relationship/marriage that existed before you decided to swing?

"not just me then lol feel better now"

That didn't sound very nice, you feel better because others have suffered, I think I know what you meant though

Yes it does happen but there are usually other underlying reasons for it

About five years ago a lady from another couple

(me and my ex partner used to see regularly)

Started to come on very strong with me to the point of asking me to live together)

So obviously we cooled it off at that point

Not long after she left her husband for another swinger

It happens

My ex and I broke up over 12 months ago

Unrelated to swinging

It would be interesting to know why you started swinging.

Unfortunately, many couples start to swing for the wrong reasons and small cracks develop into very large cracks, that then destroy a relationship.

As someone else said, there must have been an underlying reason for the split but to be honest, at least it happened before you got married.

i think thats the thing, people might blame swinging, but its a symptom not a cause. Many things are tried to keep a relationship going, from a new kitchen to a new baby, if there are underlying issues though they can be the straw that breaks the camels back.

we didnt fancy a swingin club.

there was no problems with our realasion ship, not many people can say they never had an aguement in 8 years,we never did.

im gonna keep swingin i love it.

reason i started this post was i was just curious wat people thought, as were all on the same site

Thanks for the info, I wasn't having a go at you so I hope you didn't think I was. It's hard to offer a comment on a situation without knowing more of the history. For example, if you'd met on here a few months ago then it paints an entirely different picture than having met 8 years ago and had plans to get wed in just five weeks time.

Do you think that had a bearing on why she left?

Maybe it's better that she did this now than after you were married.

I disagree. Not one argument in eight years? Bad sign. History now though so live in the moment. Be happy. X
