So I'm at Leeds Pride and got handed a card, that pretty much sums up how I feel about being bi......

Bisexuality is not about being fashionable, or trendy. It's not denying we're really gay, or straight. It's not being greedy, or fickle. It's not about being equally attracted to men and women.

It's not something new. It's not outdated.

It's not irrelevant, or an illusion, or imaginary.

It's not hard to explain:

Some people are attracted to the same sex.

Some people are attracted to the opposite sex.

Some people find their attraction isn't limited that way.

Bisexuals aren't confused.

People who insist bisexuality is more complicated are confused.

In my case its very simple.

I don't find men attractive at all.....

I enjoy the intensity of same sex activity and the ease of which it's available to me on my terms .....

Some psychologists say we're all bi to an extent, like we're all ambidextrous to an extent. You can write and throw a ball with both hands, you just do it better with one hand than the other.

I find the term bi-curious an odd one, because most of those people are actually curious for a gay experience, having already tried the straight kind. A guy might meet a couple and agree to play with the hubbie just to get with the wife. I call those people bi-spurious.

I've had sex with guys but I didn't fancy them; my purpose was to have a feminine experience. It didn't really do much for me and like many tgirls I'd rather meet other tgirls now. There's something sexy about somebody getting you, whatever flesh is involved.

You'll never see me post a thread about being sexually frustrated due to a lack of offers to meet ,,,,

Sex for me is just an itch that need scratching and I want that process to be as uncomplicated as possible .....

There is no emotion involved in what I do and I avoid anyone who is looking for a regular thing....

Some people will be born gay.

Some people will be born straight.

Biology does it to force us to have sex. It needs to create an "attracted to men" and "attracted to women". It does this through very complicated levels of chemicals on your brain during development.

In order to create two straight people, biology has to allow for the possibility of two gay people. However its not an on and off switch. You can go from hardline straight all the way to fairly open and curious. You will enter the bi area, before exiting on the other end where there are gay people who are curious about the opposite sex, then all the way up to hardline gay people who think sex with different sex is disgusting.

It can get more complicated because our gender is in our brain, and you can be a straight woman in a mans body, you can also be a gay woman in a mans body, or a bi woman, and vice versa. In order to give us gender, we end up with the same situation, people in the middle who feel neither man or woman in their brain.

I'm straight and however much I've tried I can't change that. But nothing turns me on more than 2 guys having fun together!

Several times I've resisted going to clubs on bi night - because I'm not bi - bi tolerate yes but not bi and tbh I don't feel welcome !
