What cake are we all having?

A nice deep and rich Banoffee pie always hits the spot with a generous topping of cream (of course)

Mind you the white chocolate and cranberry flapjack I had a few weeks back was divine too!

Who needs a 6-pack anyway? Moobs rule!!

Anyway, who's up for a cuppa and a cake?

What cake are we having?

Lemon Drizzle all day long.

Although, if I'm feeling exotic, a proper Key Lime pie would be awesome

"Lemon drizzle, nom nom! The dependable cake of choice when all else fails! You can never go wrong with a slice of lemon drizzle cake can you? "

Actually, there's nothing more disappointing than a dried up old slice of so-called lemon drizzle cake which doesn't even taste of lemon. It's my absolute favourite but I won't buy it any more as it's never moist or lemony enough for me. Trouble is if I make it myself I can't stop eating it

And dont go spouting on about "Well what kind of birthday cake?"

If you dont know the difference, you dont deserve cake.

Oh Dan, I had cake last night, then I moan about my Buddha belly.

Going to skip the cake today, but I'll have a cup of tea with you

My cake was a Lucky Lamb Cake from Waitrose. Madeira sponge with white chocolate buttercream, raspberry jam and white chocolate curls.

Who needs sex, just eat cake

Is it just me that likes the slightly overdone pieces of a fruitcake. The edges and corners that taste slightly cara_elised and go perfect with coffee?

(Yes, okay, I like the crusty bits )

I'm baking a Birthday cake; sponge layers to be separated by cream and raspberries. No candles as it's for an elderly relative.
