Or it means he potentially works in nail salon and uses them as tools. It's the long nail on pinky nail that is used for nose picking that I find repulsing

I'm a mechanic and get my hands dirty all the time but when iv finished work I scrub my fingers and scrape the crap from my nails I can't stand dirty fingers when I'm not at work. And when I'm not working you couldn't tell I'm a mechanic by my fingers because I scub the shit out of them .There is no excuse for dirty fingers if your not at work it's just lazy and dirty

My Mum sometimes has Rocks & Co on the telly and one of the male presenters has hands that always look like they`re not been washed correctly with ingrained dirt but I think/hope it`s the lighting in the studio! Looks really bad though for the telly!

It's a bastard trying to get epoxy based paint or fuel tank sealant out from under your nails.

Takes a very good scrubbing with a stiff nail brush.

It does matter actually. Whenever I do an oily job on my car it takes days to get the oil and grime out of my fingernails, no amount of scrubbing with a nail brush gets rid of it.

Shaz don't have that problem also, she works in maintenance and is at machines most of the day every day that are filthy/oily but once she gets out her overalls and had a bath you would never in a million years guess what her job is
