We have both. Love the ultra different personality of a dog and a cat.

They say if a dogs master died it would lie by his side for weeks.

If a cats owner died it would begin to eat him after about 5 minutes.

The cat would more likely go find another soft touch for a meal.

Dogs have owners, cats have staff!

We love both, currently serve 4 cats but would love a dog one day, I have a hankering for an ex racing greyhound. Unfortunately our lifestyle and work commitments right now wouldn't be fair on a dog but fortunately our cats don't even miss us when we're not there. One day we'll have both

When my dog is gone, which might be sooner than he thinks, if he keep vomitting and pissing on my bloody carpet, I think I'll just settle for a house spider.
