me and hubby bee trying for kids for ages been for loads of test and it turns out he cant give me one, well gutted we r so if there is any guys out there that is willing to be sperm doner then let us know as we are willing to let someone be a doner but thats all u will be

I'm sure you have already given this alot of thought, but is this really the best option? What are you going to tell the child years down the line? (please don't interpret this as me being against your choice as this is not what it is at all)

Correct me if I am wrong, but usually in this case when they say you cannot have children, it means you probably still can, but there is a very very small chance due to this that and the other....

Are there not other options? such as them taking your hubbies sperm and artificially inseminating you? (perhaps a cost to this agreed)

Or even adopting? (perhaps then the benefit of feeling good about providing a home and love for a less fortunate child).

Just some thoughts I had, personally I couldn't do what you are asking....I just could not cope with the idea of my offspring being out there somewhere and not being a part of my life.

I'm sure you will find someone though, I can see some side of the appeal of it to men, proving your virility and also giving a gift in some respects, but my ideas from the previous paragraph far out-weigh those thoughts.

It is an interesting post, I hope your manage to find someone who will help you who you think is suitable as I think every couple should have the opportunity to raise a child.

Just one question though. Would you be keeping details of the potential father, as with the way things happen now upon 18 years of age the child could find its biological father. Or would you use an anonymous donor and hope thinks like family illness or other factors are not needed?

Adoption is normaly a last choice, for a couple, after all why give up a chance of a child that is actualy theres (even if mother uses a doner)

Parents are the people that bring you up, not just the people who made you...

Wiggles would far preffer child she gave birth too, than one she was just given, luckily for us my sperm are far to bloody fit :P

Well I'd agree with you there, obviously these will be things that have been discussed already I'm sure... but perhaps then the hubby may feel that it's not actually his? it's only half hers, and half someone elses...

... if you adopt then you both have equal imput, granted that is then 'no imput' but it's still equal.

There are professional companies who specialise in sperm donation… and reputable ones will at least do some testing of the donors and protect anonymity to the extent the law allows; whilst allowing you choices in selecting a donor.

Regardless of the nature of the website, I am a tad bemused how anyone would think posting on a forum is a better option than seeking professional help.

Whilst I may empathise with your situation, I find your current path to a solution fraught with complications, potential health risks (both to yourselves and baby) and potential almighty shit hitting fan moments.

It may not be what you want to hear and I am sure you’d much rather read a string of soft and fluffy posts wishing you well … but in my own personal opinion they are doing you no favours in encouraging you to follow this particular route to parenthood.

There are legal and financial implications to this course of action for all of you .

She wanted a child with him, he didn't. So, she shagged everything she could without a condom and is now a proud mummy......... with a married daddy who's going through a really shitty divorce cus she's after maintenance and his wife's left him!

FFS....... I know people who have pierced condoms with swingers so the Mrs can get pregnant, and they always come running for maintenance when it happens. (and it's one reason why we always use our own condoms)

If you want to conceive, go through the route that sensible people use. Talk to your doctors, see about adoption or a PROPER sperm donor company.

Don't infest swinging with your quest for a child............ or you could get more than you bargained for.

Good luck to you in my last marriage we were both told that we could not have kids and ivf was the only way

We decided Not to go down that route and that was how life was to be for us

However just over a year after that we got pregnant and the result was a beautiful daughter

I understand your yearning but will say that the way you are planning to go about it

In my opinion is the worst way possible

Having seen this happen on another site (and yes she got pregnant) and the woman (19 years old) and the single male that got her pregnant actually posted it on both their profiles And She gave a running Account of it on her profile until the baby was born

So sadley i dont think its a wind up

As i have said in previous post good luck to them in there trying for a baby but this is NOT the best way to go about it

I'm in a bit of disagreement here... Perhaps it would have been better if they mentioned at the start they only wanted responses from men who were interested, and not peoples opinions on the matter. But I think it would have been fair enough had they said so.

It's a bit like putting a 'no' on the yes, no, maybe thread (joking ones aside), I find it a little pointless... silence is good enough in that situation.

As the father, any donor is responsible for maintenance if he is named and proven to be the father at any point until said child is 18 or finishes full time education.

Have a look at why sperm donor's through REPUTABLE clinics are losing their donors faster than a leaking tap loses water.

If you can prove a man is the father, he automatically becomes responsible.

yep and anyway with the govt soon to only issue Biometric passports and driving licenses the dna database will Id anyone whether convicted of a crime or not ...you can of course refuse but then how you gonna travel. A donor father could be easily identified

Tbh when i first saw this thread i thought it was a wind up, i was wrong. i do sympathise with you and i understand the want for a child can be very powerful, but i do think there are other ways to go about it, a swinging site imo is not the way...but opinions are like arseholes... everyone as got one and no one can say 'i am right, you are wrong.' its each to there own.

If you find what you are looking for and health/legal issues are sorted to a point where all are happy and the child's welfare is put first and safeguarded, then good luck to ye i hope it works out.

One more thing i will say, this is a open forum, you post to get people input/opinions/ideas, when people give them there will be a very high chance there will be people that dont agree with you and will say so...this is there right, dont have a go at them for it. you put the question out there not them.

What you will find is many clinics are using donations from eastern Europeans working in Western Europe. Commercial enterprises will find a solution if financial gain is involved.

I think that you may be going around this the wrong way as in swinger site .I sympathize with your case here however when you convey if any guys want to you'll let them be doner then you go in to mentioning thats all you will be .Hmmm.Ut not as simples as this now you've also made every couple and guy gear passed you also or make sure there well protected .There is other sources for this so why come here despiration yes obviously however I done this for really good friends it's not as easy to do as may believe .For heaps guts maybe though what about ones that like children your saying your just a spunk doner how the fuck can you say that in a way it's like a surogate mother carrying a child for someone .it's not just a guys duff your getting btw
