The times they are a'changing. My parents met on a blind date in a pub in 1960. If that meet hadn't happened I wouldn't be here.

To me... if you want to meet a girl, at this time of night, then your best bet is to make her feel at ease and safe.

Suggesting a 'romantic stroll' in the dark with a complete stranger, to me is a little on the suspect side.

Not if they refused to send a pic if we had requested one.

We have had blind dates here though, and have been pleasantly surprised too.

It's not me... I wouldn't entertain someone who had refused to send a photo and who wouldn't meet me in a public safe place. Not a chance.

In my world, any bloke worth anything would be happy to meet somewhere the girl was comfortable and felt safe. To not agree to that is not only stupid but fairly rude in my _iew.

I can understand why it wouldn't worry a bloke to meet a girl in the street having never seen a photo but the other way round I just don't understand it.

I did once...some years ago but we had also been chetting for some time and i always had "good vibes".

I always go with my gut feelings and it turned out pretty good.

We deffinatly wouldn't go on a blind date for a swinging meet. And we don't get this no face pic thing. There are 3 areas you can store pics if you are that worried. Theres no excuse for never being able to send a pic. And what make me laugh is when they say they can send it via MSN but no on FAB.

a couple of reasons i wouldnt do blind meets.

Before i meet someone i like to get a feel of them, to know we hopefully be suited that includes knowing what they look like.

Also i would never meet anyone in public that i hadnt seen on cam unless they have uptodate verifications proving that the photo they have is uptodate. I am a single girl. They know what i look like, what if they have the potential to be a stalker or worse. You go to the place of arrangement. They dont turn up so you go home. How would you know they hadnt been sat across from you watching or waiting outside to follow you and see where you go.
