Just how hard is it to get back into swinging after a 4 year break?

There are those on here who know us and know Mrs went to afghan in 2012 and came back with her head in a different place. Just as she started to get interested again, we went to the Falklands 2014 to end 2015. We've been back in the uk for.8 months and the company have moved us twice. We are now in Weymouth which we are going to make our base but could be off again, depending on promotion, within 2 years.

She's finding it really hard to get back into swinging especially with long hours working and no club 'just round the corner'... Chameleons used to be our local ......

Any hints, tips or comments great fully received

Chams is a bit far now although perhaps for a party we could do something.

Although, we went to Chams 4 days after I got back from Afghan and it was a total disaster. Jet lag and 9 months in a war zone took it's toll and I was a total ...... Well, who knows what I was.

However, it's about time I got back into the swing (nice pun or what?!) of it...

I need tips people

cold you organise a mini social with some people you knew before you left? i know you have moved quite far away from where you were before but i'm sure some would like a trip to weymouth x

also, perhaps you have just grown out of it? maybe just enjoy the forums and chat for a bit to see if it stirs your loins a bit?

There isn't really anywhere near you, so I think you'd have to travel to get a club thing happening. So, why not travel to somewhere you know when there is a specific party on and arrange to see old friends there.
